Jon Jones and Chael Sonnen coaching the next TUF/ Fight on 4/27

They needed a name on the show, but also someone else for Jones to fight. Henderson probably isn't ready to do the show, Shogun & Machida probably shouldn't get the shot and the language differences would hurt a little. Plus they may not want to stop their training.

Sonnen really was the only big name left, even though after this fight he will probably go back into unknown status when he gets destroyed. Sonnen is there for name alone, not ability at 205.

What killed TUF was going to Fridays. At 10pm on Fridays, a good chunk of the 18-49 demographic are out and about.

fights were already boring on a tape show I can only think the fights live are just as bad. Def would of loved to hear them trash talk each other but I will pass and wait for the fight.

I'm not happy for Chael getting a title shot but with the exception of Hendo...none of those guys deserve a shot right now. Shogun still needs one more. So does Machida. So does Gus. Rashad and Bader arent even in the discussion right now. The biggest loser is Hendo but I think thats a bit of payback for the 151 debacle and him sitting on his injury for 2 weeks. Even with this Chael fight, the LHW belt will still be defended three times this year and two of those guys listed above will get a shot.

Still, Chael should be three or four fights away from a title shot. Especially when he's fighting in a division with so many viable opponents, a number of whom, have yet to fight the champ [Hendo, Gustaf, Davis, Glover]. I don't care that none of those guys might not deserve a shot today. Chael has proved nothing at 205 and has no reason to be ranked even in the top 10.
