Now I know Gomer has shown his arrogance a number times in the last few weeks and gotten everybody thinking he's full of sh*t, but I have to wonder why you guys care what he did with prince fielder's ratings. You do realize that you can change them to whatever you think he should be don't you. I don't give a crap if Gomer thinks that he should have 100 power against lefties and righties, I just adjust it to a more realistic rating like 55 against righties and 45 against lefties (still very good for a double A player).

IMHO, I think they're just using it as an example. Who knows what others were changed to his "beliefs?" That's just one that caught someone's attention, that's all.

And it can screw up things down the line in your dynasty.

That's why people care... at least, that's why I would.

Exactly. I've already changed a ton of things to the roster set that I don't think look right and I have no problem doing it (although my time is very limited lately). However, I know I haven't caught everything and know I won't.

IMO it's a problem when people mess with different ratings. It always causes problems down the road (ie: guys throwing 50 MPH curveballs etc...).

but unfortunatley these rosters are the choice for most of us until we can v2 of totalminors.

Re: MVP Baseball 2004 Roster Discussion

When I got to MVPMods.com, the AR save for version 2.0 doesn't work, it's a .rar file, the same that is in the non AR save. Am I doing something wrong? I was able to download the classic rosters, but not these..

Thanks!

I did. I'm playing my Franchise in ESPN, but still mess around with MVP at times. I do a lot of simming and manage only mode in MVP though and only play the games every once in a while. I still try out the latest rosters to see if the LH Bug and Steal problem were ever fixed. It's a fun game to play at times, but wasn't the game for me to play a Franchise in this year. I just got too frustrated with all the little problems and felt like I was trying to fix problems more than just playing the game. Hopefully next year because EA has an excellent base to go off of.
