1979-80 NBA Season Roster: Work in Progress

Just curious as to the status of your 79-80 roster? Haven't heard anything in awhile.

I'm actually moving along pretty well. I'm basically done with 10 teams: Atlanta, Boston, Houston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Golden State, and Phoenix.

It's super annoying that they patched out the ability to edit age. I am trying to adjust for it - shifting player's peaks to account for differences in age - but it's still irritating me.

Anyway, still plugging along. Denver's next and I guess when I'm done with them, I'm halfway through the teams that actually existed.

Out of curiosity, are you using the '71 Kareem or the '86 Kareem?

'86, although the Lakers and Sixers were the two teams I was able to get to before they patched out the age editing - so the ages for those two teams are correct throughout (Kareem is 32, Magic is 21, and so on).

Any chance of uploading a "work in progress"? I'm a huge '70s sports fan and can't wait to see what you have done with this project.

No, not even close yet, unfortunately :-(

I don't know how other guys are getting their rosters done so quickly, but even making consistent progress on an essentially daily basis I'm only around halfway done.

Also, since metallicarl has already posted a 78-79 roster, I'm wondering if I should bump mine out and switch over to 80-81 or 81-82, just to add more variety to what's available. I could do it pretty easily without losing a lot of work. Any throughts?
