I'm not going to stop ranting about this horrible thing in 2018 until we get it all cleared up. It's bad and no logical explanation could be made to justify this..

I wish that they could let us record audio if we had the soundtrack turned off.

Hell, honestly, I'd rather them have no soundtrack. There's plenty of other ways to listen to music in 2017 than to have to listen to a list that someone else put together.

About to be 2018. For the second year in a row when you stream on twitch or yt. Viewers can't hear the game sounds/commentary all because 2k does not have the proper licensing rights. That is unacceptable in this day of age. You have NBA Live 18 demo, Madden 18 can hear everything thru streaming. Yes I know if we use elgato it can work but what about those who don't have elgato. I hope 2k fixes this asap..

If the demo is any indication which 95% it looks like. There will be no commentary/sounds for 2k18 streaming. The demo does not have it unfortunately.. but hey we got the Neighborhood lol

This is pretty disappointing.

I am seeing YT vids with game sound, although I will assume they are with 3rd party sound recorders.

How come the pre-prelude videos had sound?

NBA Live did it right. They just remixed the instrumentals while you play so it doesnt trip any copyrights. Why 2K can t do that is a mystery.

They could even do like some other games where they have "stream-friendly" audio options.
