They worked on the XB1 aswell. Just went back and checked; the sound worked on 16 and 15, not 14.

This makes no sense. SMH. I dont understand why there isnt a bigger uproar over the lack of sound on live streaming broadcast. Your post, along with countless others in this thread, both show that this was not an issue dating back to the 16, and with my below example, further back to 15. Live streaming and broadcasting in general only further amplifies 2k to casuals who might otherwise enjoy a 2k stream.

No one wants to watch the masterpiece gameplay in silence. Come on 2k, silent movies are a thing of the past. Its the 21st century and we demand some gawt damn audio to accompany our streams. Another 2k cycle of watching otherwise compelling gameplay amongst my MLO mates, albeit in silence is beyond irritating at this point. Considering the competition has figured it out with both madden and live...sigh...wait till next year I guess. With the neglect of MLO and now this audio copyright issue, this "wait till next year" mantra is slowly becoming the siren song to my love/hate relationship with 2k.

It's easy and wll figured out by the competiton? What are you waiting 2k??? It's not something you can't do, it would only be you don't want to do which is even crazier to think why wouldn't you want to!? Unbelievable!

Wrong.
I actually don't remember whether 2k14 had it or not as I didn't record many videos back then.
.....but 2k15 definitely had the audio recorded, all my 2k15 videos had the audio in them. 2k16 had the audio recorded but you'd get copyright issues on youtube with the Sunset Beach videos because of a 5 second seagull sound that popped up.
So they just stopped letting the audio through altogether in 2k17, 2k18 is the same....... and 2k19 and so on will also have no audio recorded.
