It's that damn triangle. They post him and Noah. Then cutters are cutting but no is looking at them as a threat. No doubles so the cutters aren't open. They are collapsing off of Noah into the paint all day

We aren't even running that much triangle **** to set it up. We're literally walking down the court and posting a guy up like it's the 90s.

Hornacek is invisible. This feels like a team that isn't even being coached.

I don't know. I keep seeing Noah out of position and Lee just waiving his arms but not moving his feet.

The defensive effort has been awful from everyone. Guys not even running to rebounds on the floor.

These dudes are having a chuckle about turnovers while down 22. This dumb team.

Noah is the only person on this team with above average passing skills. It'll get better but there is no way this is a playoff team. Let's kill that noise, quiet as it already was, right here and now.

Re: The 2017 New York Knicks: Can we please stay healthy?

This is some of the worst defense I've seen. Not sure how we managed to get so bad defensively. They have no idea how to defend the pick and roll, not sure if they were even instructed on any strategy. Guys are getting lost defensively, 2 guys are guarding one guy off the ball for no damn reason, guys aren't getting back in transition, guys are ball watching. Smh.

And offensively we look worse somehow. At least with the triangle there was some semblance of structure on offense. Whatever we're doing now is basically just a high pick and roll where we can never hit the roll man and then iso-ball. It looks like pickup basketball offense. Melo just gets the ball now and is like "f it, I'm shooting." He might be wearing a fitbit that buzzes if he takes 100 steps on the floor without firing a shot up. And can Derrick Rose make a pass without leaving his feet? How long have you been in the league bruh? If there's a scientific study that determines the human body can make a certain number of jumps in a given year without any repercussions, it's no surprise he gets hurt all the damn time.

We've played 1 quarter of good basketball this season. At least we still have our draft pick.

Off to Chicago to lose by 20. Over/under 6 references by the commentators to "throwback Dwyane Wade?"

Re: The 2017 New York Knicks: Can we please stay healthy?

Legit amazed that they could field a team in the Garden to play worse D than the Rangers, didn't think it'd be possible.

Quote from Courtney Lee:

"We run the triangle, we practice against it a lot. I think we need to practice against pick and rolls, practice against other looks and whatnot and get comfortable with that because that's what other teams are running."

BRUH, you're telling me we don't practice defense against what every other team in the league is doing, only the offense that even we can barely run? Go figure.
