It's a brave thing to stay, not the intelligent thing. I do see Silas leaving, since he is an almost certain NFL draft pick and the more spotlight he gets the better for him. I really don't see him going to USC though, UGA or UT have popped up and both are much more believable since he can start from Day one. If he leaves to help his draft stock, he wouldn't go somewhere to potentially backup a guy.
Has a better chance starting at USC than UGA. Even with Crowell gone Georgia has a ton of solid backs including the #1 rb in this years class Keith Marshall.

I wouldn't be suprised if Anthony Fera goes to Texas. His sisters are UT grads. He is visiting Campus the day after tommorow. He would be an immediate starter on A BCS contending team But he is seriuosly looking at Texas and according to 247 Sports he is above a 50% to come to Texas.

Only if Darreus Rodgers is deemed academically ineligible. If he is eligible, no chance at Redd.

Fera's a great kicker and a pretty good punter. Would suck to see him go and UT would be getting a great player. Thankfully PSU still has a P and a K behind him,

I agree that I don't see many, if any, current players transferring, however your recruits are toast. Just being honest. Those young guys will be swayed away. Even the locals will want to go to Pitt before PSU.. No post-season for the next 4 seasons is disgusting. Good luck.. but don't put too much stock into a 17-18 year old kids current opinion right now..

Colin Cowherd ‏@ESPN_Colin
Silas Redd, sitting down w USC coach NOW. That sort of explains why he isn't at Big 10 Media Day

Not true. LB Will Andrews was a walk on who was awarded a 1 year scholarship last year. It was not renewed and he is back to walk on status but people count him as part of the 75 due to last year.

If we didn't have a space open the coaches would not be meeting with Redd.

Pat Tholey on 247Sports:

"USC 2012 signee Darreus Rogers is still waiting for clearance from the NCAA Clearinghouse. What happens here will determine how serious the Trojans are in Redd because if Rogers enrolls, then USC would have to petition the NCAA to go above their scholarship limit of 75 for this year and then take one less next year. USC has interest in Redd, but still a long way to go. Also it's important to note that USC isn't in dire need of running back depth either."

So like I said...
