Those Varsity sliders are very close to what I've been using, and I've been getting some great game play. Of course, in order to do so, I only control the quarterback. I have no problem doing that, honestly.

That's exactly the way I play. I try to play these games as a team sport just like they really are.

Re: I have 3 different ODs going on 3 levels.

The next game in my (recently converted to default Varsity) Army Dynasty...

Army 22, #10 Pittsburgh 39

We went into the 4th quarter down 15-22. We tied it at 22. Pitt scored on their next 2 possessions on a 50-yard touchdown run (WR Option) and a 37-yard pass. I tossed an interception on my next possesssion and it resulted in a Pitt fieldgoal to come to 22-39 which would be the final score.

Army
C. Williams: 30-39, 319 Yards, 2 TD, 2 Int
T. Moore: 14 Att, 24 Yards, 6 Rec, 61 Yards, 2 TD
J. Carter: 7 Rec, 84 Yards

Pittsburgh
P. Bostick: 15-18, 206 Yards, 3 TD, 2 Int
L. McCoy: 12 Att, 65 Yards, 7 Rec, 87 Yards, TD
J. Baldwin: 4 Rec, 88 Yards, TD

Really good game!!

Might be a silly question, but what do you do on running plays?

Re: I have 3 different ODs going on 3 levels.

Played my first game with these sliders today and have to say, I really enjoyed the way the game played.

SU (me) vs. OU @ Carrier Dome

OU 14 17 6 3 40
SU 0 3 0 14 17

Passing
Sam Bradford 24-32-259 2 TD, 0 INT (sacked 2x)
Andrew Robinson 14-23-113 2 TD, 0 INT (sacked 1x)

Rushing
OU #7 10-44 4.4 ypc
OU #29 9-31 3.4
Total: 21-72 3.4 ypc

SU #22 22-67 3.0
Total: 28-85 3.0 ypc

Receiving
OU # 1 7-85
#18 4-28

SU #1 5-48
#11 5-35

Penalties
Both teams 3-25

Time of possession (7 min. quarters)
SU 14:52-13:12

So, this game went just the way you'd expect it to if the 2 teams lined up and played each other this weekend. OU did everything and anything it wanted to offensively in the first half. Bradford was lights-out, as I couldn't get a pass rush going and SU's secondary isn't very strong. SU's offense was conservative (I let Corso call plays) and struggled to move the ball.

OU ran back the 2nd half kickoff for a TD (missed the extra point, which was cool) and after that, I began to have some success on the ground and in the air. OU ran the ball a lot more in the 2nd half, which is what you want to see when a team is up big. They did throw a few passes in the game's final minute, which was a little annoying. Good variance in their play-calling as well. I didn't see any deep passes, but saw a good number of 15- to 18-yard completions by them.

I'm not close to starting a dynasty yet, as I still have a bunch of teams I want to try out (although I know I'll run with FSU and SU), but definitely liking the way the game plays with these sliders.

Re: I have 3 different ODs going on 3 levels.

A great defensive battle between 2 rivals:

UF (me) 10, UGA 7

UF 0 10 0 0 10
UGA 0 0 0 7 7

Passing
Tebow 21-30-196-1-1 70% (sacked 2x)
Stafford 13-23-123-0-3 56% (sacked 1x)

Rushing
UF #33 15-33 2.2 ypc
Tebow 11-25
Total: 29-69

UGA #4 13-34 2.6
Moreno (injured in 2nd quarter, came back in 4th and was injured again after 1 carry) 8-32
Total: 23-68

Receiving
Harvin 8-73
UF #86 4-30

UGA #1 4-20
#85 3-35

Penalties
UF 1-10, UGA 3-15

Time of possession (7 min.)
UF 15:59-12:05

This was an old-school defensive struggle. I'd move the ball well at times, but when I got into UGA territory, the Dawgs' D tightened and I struggled to put points up. I also threw an INT that ended a drive and missed a 23-yard FG. Stafford just had a bad game. His arm strength must not be that high b/c he lacked velocity on his throws, which directly led to 2 of the 3 INTs. The third came with 1 min. to go and UGA driving to either tie or win the game. He felt PRESSURE and rushed his throw, right to my MLB, who was sitting in coverage.

AA, hope I'm not stepping on your toes by posting these reports, just figured some people might want to see a few results with these sliders.

For those curious, I'm only controlling the DT on defense. On offense I control the QB, RB (on run plays) and WR/TE/RB on passing plays only AFTER they have caught the ball.

Re: I have 3 different ODs going on 3 levels.

Have to agree that the game is ALOT more enjoyable on varsity. I was using the OS legends AA sliders, but as i recruited more and more speed on defense the INT's got out of hand. Seems like the game was balanced for Varsity play, and on AA/Heisman the DB's are just too juiced up. On varsity I'm seeing more of the animations aswell, 1 handed sideline grabs, QB's spinning out of sacks, the works.
