Re: Fistofrages Heisman Sliders

I agree... I just played a game against Georgia, and the LBs were knocking down passes like crazy. (although, you'd be proud of me, Fist - I hit 3 of 3 field goals!)

Let's put the pass coverage slider at 45 for both, and lets play a few games. I'm anxious to see how that works out. Time for bed...

Re: Fistofrages Heisman Sliders

played a bowl game last night with these sliders and really enjoyed them...got beat with texas tech by the cpu (central michigan)..threw five picks mostly on bad decisions.

one question for fists and megatron...a few days ago i was trying out ceejay's best realism sliders and really liked the feel of the pass rush at 5. it seemed to give really good feel and saw a lot less dlineman falling down. not sure how it would play out with your sliders but man it sure felt different in a good way, as i felt a little too suctiony with these heismansliders...

loved these overall though. just was wondering about that pass rush at 5...i never felt like it killed my pass rush, just made it more realistic when controlling a d lineman. now if you play with a lb or db then maybe it kills the pass rush...not sure and haven't tested...

like to hear what you guys think...

Re: Fistofrages Heisman Sliders

I just tried these and they played pretty good but need a lil tweaking...I'd like to think I was pretty good at this game but playing Alabama will make u think otherwise...the First half was great, 21-14 Bama at half....but some things were just to predictable....I punt it down to the 1 yd line, tied 14-14, I say to myself literally(I hope no bull happens were Ingram breaks a couple tackles n goes 99 yds)....WELL sure enough, he breaks Hines and Rolle tackles and makes it 21-14 goin in for the half.........then in the 2nd half the HEISMAN-BOT comes alive, I start fumbling, I cant pass anymore, I cant run anymore and Ingram and Richardson are literally just unstoppable................I have played on Heisman every yr up until the last 2 bc it has been rediculous what the cpu does, Im back to the drawing board now lol.......VENTING OVER, here are some final #s:

Ohio State Alabama

Outside of the score, the stats look good. Take away the 99 yard run and then look what you have....The sliders are to make make elite teams feel elite. Play a middle of the road team like Illinois or Minnesota and let me know what your stats look like.

Sounds like the same thing that happened to me IAL. Heisman-Bot just being ridiculous and not really giving you a chance to win. I've though about go with AA Sliders juiced up, I just feel like the game will be waaaaay too easy. Sucks between in between a rock and a hard place.

The game just doesn't seem intense on the lower levels. Some gameplay actually feels better on varsity, especially the passing game, but the AI never feels like its trying to put you away. It almost sabotages itself.

I like Heisman with these sliders by the fact that you know when you are playing an elite team and elite players.

Re: Fistofrages Heisman Sliders

I was wondering where you were fist. Do you find DL on aggressive is too powerful on Heisman? I typically use this and try to tweak my sliders around that. But the cpu run blocking slider and human rush defense sliders are so weak that I'm not sure if I should continue this. The cpu run blocking sliders resemble NCAA 09 - way too weak to the point of being frustratingly useless. I set cpu run block at 100 and human rush defense at 0 with cpu RBA at 60 and it's pretty good but I would expect to get manhandled on Heisman normally. AA is flat out broken after the patch imo.

My recommendation is to reset all of your sliders and put these in. No run commit and no keying on the RB. I don't jump the snap either.

I think the AI running game is great. Maybe too powerful at this point. Its hard to say about the runblock slider. I tried a few combinations. I know that the AI RB runs better on default than at 75. As far as run blocking and run defense sliders go, I am not sure as I didn't try every 5 point interval. All I know is that with these sliders, Elite teams can blow up against you. Meaning, if they are a running team(multiple, pro, oneback, or running spread), they'll put up 200 yards+ on an average team. the elite teams will break off long runs, but I rarely see evenly matched B teams go off on eachother.

All I can say is try them and supply some feedback. I like the game this year, although I haven't started a dynasty yet. I lose to teams I should and beat the teams I should for the most part and have had some great games. You may see some big plays or see some strange broken tackles by the AI here and there but when you look at the stats at the end of the game, the total yards and number of plays are pretty much inline.
