Doing a "test dynasty" with Iowa and will post stats after the 4th game. So far I haven't had much of a test but have played Northern Illinois, Missouri State (TeamBuilder import), and Iowa State. I can run the ball at will but have thrown 6 INT's which were all my fault.

Right now I am 4th in the nation in rushing, and 74th in passing. My defense is giving up 14 points a game and I'm using 9 min quarters. I'm getting sacked maybe 1 or 2 times a game but I run a lot, and use quick pass patterns mainly.

I'm liking these a lot but I need to get into the Big Ten season a bit more to see how things end up. Like I said, so far the games haven't been very close but my level of competition hasn't been great either.

Small sample size (only one quarter) but I must say that I may find this game playable now. You are on to something Fiddy. I really think this 0/25/50/75/100 is the way to go. I'm using your set off the bat and though I'll have to tune the difficulty I have just fallen in love with the FEEL. Just wow.

I just wanted to add my 2 cents.... Love the idea of using increments of 25, however I applied my set differently. I was seeing good games on default AA, but was getting picked off too much and saw no break-a-way plays (320 lb linemen catching up with 92 speed RB's). So my current set is AA default with threshold at 25, game speed slow, and CPU int/ pass coverage at 25. I think this may be the set I settle on.

Penalties are broken and that's on EA
User QB Accuracy isn't producing enough bad throws at 5. May change to 0.

these might not be the "best" sliders out there, but these make the game play much more organic animation wise annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd these are headache free! LOL. no tweak here, tweak there, etc.

I haven't played 14 in a while (sick kid). I was using authentic's but I like your logic and want to give them a try. I have two questions though. Is varsity hard enough? I've been playing on Heisman. Are the sliders on the opening page the most recent? Thanks for all the hard work.

Newb at the table thing, but here is my NE(me) @ PSU game from last night. I really like the way it turned out stat wise. I had my special teams sliders low, and it hurt PSU on a missed field goal to take the lead early in the game, and 2 shanked punts that gave me excellent field position.

I opted to only adjust the special teams sliders after the game. had i went in with my changes before hand, i fully believe it would have changed the composure of the game.

My sliders are only BASED on Fiddy's, the values are my own.

varsity is hard for me. especially with the right changes etc, the CPU defense is pretty darn good.

yes, the sliders on page 1 are the current ones im using.

if varsity is too easy for you, jump bump up to All American and see how it goes. after a few games you can then see what you need to bump up or down and settle on a set that works best for you.

let us know how it goes when you do get to play some games.
