Offseason he'll progress like all other QBs.

Given his horrible OVR, his draft chances are about 0. If he's too small, then his draft chances ARE 0.

Should I manually raise his awareness? If a superstar goes undrafted my dynasty loses authenticity.
I wouldn't manually edit my players to make him better. You're already putting up crazy numbers now.

Just because he's putting up preposterous numbers doesn't make him a superstar. It just means you need to increase the difficulty. He still has a horrible arm and no NFL team would want such a guy @QB.

As the other guy said, big numbers doesn't mean NFL.

Graham Harrell lead the NCAA in passing at Texas Tech, he's not in the NFL

Timmy Chang set a record for TD passes with Hawaii, he's not in the NFL

Kellen Moore won more games than any other NCAA QB in history, he's a benchwarmer.

Tebow won the Heisman and flopped. So did Manziel.

What conference are you in? My RB won the Heisman this year, but chose to come back as a redshirt senior. I go with the story that he didn't have draft stock due to poor competition. It happens all the time.

Big numbers doesnt make him an NFL guy. That's why the NFL scouts instead of glancing at stats.

I would recommend upping your difficulty though. If anything, you're losing authenticity by a 60 overall QB being the best QB in the nation...not by him not being an NFL prospect.

Re: How is your dynasty going

After all my buddies that I created and they got all spread out in the nation I went back to check up on them and none of them left early to go pro and then 3 out of the 10 didn't get drafted even though they were in the upper 90s! I'm assuming due to size considering my guy was 6' 1" and 180lbs at QB for Oklahoma and won the Heisman twice.

2130 Preview

A Tale of Two Campuses

Twenty-three years ago, two programs seperated by 1263.2 miles hired new head coaches. Both programs sport white helmets with red letters, and in the twenty-two seasons since they made their iconic hires, have won over 200 games, conference championships, big time bowl wins. Still, a National Championship eludes both Sam McLaughlin and Brian Sims of Nebraska and North Carolina State. Whereas, Sims 219-73 record has largely been celebrated, in Lincoln, Coach Sam, as he's come to be known is often met with disdain.

There's the 7 times Nebraska went to the Big 12 Championship with a playoff berth on the line and failed to close the deal. Last year, despite winning just the 3rd Big 12 Championship in McLaughlin's career, Nebraska failed to make it into the playoffs, a 20-17 loss in Boulder being the difference. A Fiesta Bowl loss to Ohio State ended the season on a sour note. The legendary Kevin White once hired Coach Sam, now 97 years old, White has to say, "I feel for Sam. I mean look at the bowls he's won: Sugar, Cotton, Gator, Alamo, Tangerine all that's missing is the big one. He can still get it."

It's not just the lack of championships that rile up Nebraska fans, it's how they lose. In the 2124 Peach Bowl, Miami stormed off to a 49-3 lead before Nebraska finally scored a touchdown, final score 56-10 Miami which would win its 2nd of four consecutive National Championships. Nebraska opens the 2130 season on a 23 year championship drought, and few think that will change this year, "It's Goodman's Huskers all over again," says a distraught fan, "we manage to get close enough to screw it up all the time."

In Raleigh, Wolk Pack football has never been bigger. There's a dream that this is the year all the pieces come together and mix with just enough luck, Brian Sims leads NC State to a 15-0 season and retries with exactly 300 wins. "That's the story book ending," Sims says, "people say I've never managed to win a major bowl, so what a better way to change that narrative."

#6 Nebraska stars the season against the defending champions, #1 Notre Dame in the Cowboy's Kickoff Classic. #19 NC State is predicted to win the ACC Atlantic Division and take a 12-0 record against #3 Miami. It's been 20 years since NC State has beaten Miami, and that includes three ACC Championship games during that span.

Elsewhere across the country, no one will deny that Derrick Johnson has done a tremendous job in his first 3 years at the helm in Texas (38-4, 2 Big 12 Championships), but this is a team whose 4 recruiting classes have an average rank of 23.5 a far cry from the top 10 classes Timothy Roberts was bringing in. Oklahoma seems to be heading back in the right direction, Nebraska is Nebraska and Colorado, Baylor and TCU won't make it easy for the Longhorns.

Notre Dame has as hard a schedule as anyone in the country, 3 of their first 4 games are against top 10 teams, 11-1 and maybe even 10-2 against this schedule could be enough to get them back to the playoffs to defend the title.

Alabama and Miami figure to be in the playoff race, these two teams are the Yankees and Cubs of college football, but Alabama's most recent title gave it the advantage by 1. LSU watched Alabama lose to Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl last year, the Tigers 38-35 defeat at the hands of the Crimson Tide only strengthened their resolve. QB Jamal Williams and HB Mike Keenan are back to make a run at another title.

Let's look back in the past

Last Year: Remember when Vince White Jr. ran Coach Vince White's offense to perfection as Notre Dame won two consecutive National Championships? Few else remember 2082, but last year Notre Dame finally ended a 47 year title drought against Oregon, it's now been 3 years since Miami last won a National Championship, is it all clear? The last time Miami went 3 years without a title, it ripped off 59-1 run.

5 years ago: Vince White Jr. rode off into the sunset after matching his dad's National Championship win total (7), and Miami captured its 3rd straight National Championship with Eric Cox adding a 2nd Heisman Trophy to his collection of accodales.

10 years ago: Alabama hired some guy from Air Force, stunned the defending National Champion Miami Hurricanes in the Orange Bowl, ending the Canes' 29 game win streak and blew out Wisconsin to win the first National Championship of the Tony Dickson era.

25 years ago: Can we ever stop talking about Miami? Thomas Anderson led the Hurricanes to the only National Championship of his tenure, beating Michigan in the Orange Bowl, and Alabama in the title game.

50 years ago: Kevin White and the Nebraska Cornhuskers beat a Vince White led Notre Dame with Vince White Jr. behind center in the Rose Bowl and then stomped Florida State to win his first of four National Championships. At the time Vince White was that guy who played for Bill Williams at Arkansas, and coached South Alabama before Notre Dame made a hiring mistake. Funny how that played out.

100 years ago: Bill Williams left Miami after going 154-7 and winning 8 straight National Championships to coach USC. Miami failed to return to the playoffs in 2030, and #4 Nevada shocked #1 Minnesota in the Orange Bowl. #2 Oklahoma slipped past #3 Georgia and then destroyed Nevada 44-7 to claim its first title in 30 years.

Tons of standout college guys don't go pro...or do and flop. 7/10 getting drafted is really high...consider that less that 5% of college players go pro. I think you're worrying too much about the NFL draft in your dynasty

That makes sense! I do not care about that actually. Was merely just stating what I've noticed in my dynasty. The guy a few post above is the one whose cares about the nfl draft I guess. 🏻🏻

A 6'1, 180 QB can't be drafted.

A QB must be a minimum of 6'0, 200 to be drafted.

I figured as much. Was letting the guy know that has the 60 overall QB that his overall isn't the deciding factor in getting drafted.
