Tried this all again saving immediately before my Saturday game and also immediately after to a new file. Both times the FA's went crazy.

I reloaded my only good file, from after week 1 of the preseason, and saved on Friday night. Quit, reloaded and there's the $8M contract again.

I'm done until the patch is out. How could I possibly put any heart into playing when what I am doing wont be saved properly? I know I can ignore the problem but that is not an answer.

No one else is having problems? This is PS3 btw in the preseason using the Chiefs.

There's some more details on this in a previous post.

Saving on Friday is the 99% solution. This will protect your own team 100%, but might affect the CPU teams in rare cases. You will still see some inflated FAs on Mondays. CPU teams will rarely have the money to sign them, and you can wait until Tuesday to sign them manually if you're interested.

The 100% solution is to save on the last day of games for that week. Usually this is Monday, but sometimes it's Sunday and sometimes it's Friday. It's a bit harder to remember, so that's why I went with the simpler approach in the original post.

2nd week of the preseason ended on a Monday night (8pm was the last game time). I saved at 8:01pm and again at 10:00pm just in case and OF COURSE the bug is back.

SERIOUSLY, what am I doing wrong? I've tried every which way to get this to work, no one else seems to be having a problem (or they just don't care).

I've saved on Friday nights and when I re-load, those wacky contracts are still there.

What was the first day you guys actually looked at your new cotracts after loading your game?

This is why we need this patch released ASAP. It makes the game unplayable.

I've heard that no teams sign the players when the contracts are out of whack, and eventually it goes back to normal, so I guess it doesn't bother me that much.

Has anyone seen any team sign a 57 rate OL to a $9 mil. contract or anything like that?
