That said, I sure hope Naanee gets more touches this year. Every time he touched the ball, he made a play it seemed.
I'm not saying that at all. If we miss him for 6 weeks, it would be a HUGE loss. I was saying that he has 6 more weeks till the home opener to get better (well, 5 weeks after today). I don't think it would be that devastating to miss him for a game or two, but more than that, I agree with what you're saying.

As for Naanee, you couldn't have said it better.

Say what?

You sure you didn't just catch the tail end of a discussion about his last one?

They keep bringing it up, and saying, "This is not a repeat of January. This is breaking news." I still can't find any links though, and I've checked ESPN, SI, CBS, FoxSports, XX's website, google, etc...

Alright, so FSR is full of it. I still can't find anything, so I'm gonna say they were just stirring the pot. Sorry to even mention it.

Re: 2008 San Diego Chargers Off-Season Thread

For the fourth-consecutive season, the Chargers will begin their preseason schedule at home when the Seattle Seahawks come to San Diego in early August to kick off the ’09 slate. The Chargers will wrap up their preseason schedule at home as well against running back Frank Gore and Head Coach Mike Singletary’s San Francisco 49ers.

Seattle’s trip to San Diego marks the fourth-straight August in which Matt Hasselbeck and company will visit Qualcomm Stadium. The Chargers won last year’s meeting between the two teams thanks to Jacob Hester’s fourth-quarter touchdown run and Malcom Floyd’s ensuing two-point conversion catch.

When San Francisco comes to town for the preseason finale, it will mark the eighth year in a row that the Chargers have wrapped up their preseason slate against the 49ers. San Diego has won the last two preseason meetings, including last year’s contest at Candlestick Park when Charlie Whitehurst tossed a last-second touchdown pass.

Sandwiched in between the two home games, the Chargers travel to Arizona and Atlanta. They’ll visit the defending NFC Champion Cardinals in Week 2 at University of Phoenix Stadium. Week 3 brings the Chargers’ longest preseason trip in eight years when they face the Falcons in a CBS nationally-televised contest scheduled for 5 pm PT on Aug. 29 in the Georgia Dome. The Chargers’ trip to Atlanta marks the farthest they’ve traveled in the preseason since a 2001 contest in Miami.

With the exception of the Falcons game, the times and dates for preseason games have yet to be finalized. The opening week of preseason games is Aug. 13-17, so the Seattle contest will fall somewhere in those dates. Week 2 is scheduled for Aug. 20-24, and the final week of preseason games will be played on either Sept. 3 or 4.

Tickets for all Chargers home games, both preseason and regular season, are available. They can be purchased by calling 877-CHARGERS, visiting www.chargers.com or stopping by the Chargers’ ticket office at Gate C at Qualcomm Stadium, open Monday through Friday from 8-5 pm.

I renewed mine back in Feb, but doubt I'll go to many games this year (kinda hard to get there regularly from HI). I've got friends who will use mine so they don't end up going to opposing fans.
