Before the Direct - Starfield was a $10 monthly rental via Game Pass.

After the Direct - Starfield is now a $100 digital premium edition purchase because holy crap!!! The 45 minute Direct 100% sold me on everything in the game and this has become my #1 most anticipated game for the rest of 2023 and despite not being a Bethesda Game Studios fan, the Direct simply won me over. Can't freaking wait!!!

You can pay 31 with game pass discount for premium upgrade. I’m questioning if the DOC and 5 days are worth 31 but probably gonna do it

Ouch. I do wonder if the sheer amount of system resources this game is going to require would have made ray tracing unusable for the vast majority of PC players anyway, but it's still disappointing for those of us who do have 4090's. Hopefully it will be supported in later patches after they have worked out many of the inevitable launch bugs.

I think its a brilliantly evil plan by MS. This partnership helps sell more consoles.
