Re: 2022 gaming plans

I really hope we see Breath of the Wild 2 this year. That's a must-buy for me.

Definitely picking up the new Mario + Rabbids, and the Advance Wars 1&2 reboot for the Switch. Will likely get the PS4 version of the new Horizon game, too.

If MLB 22 comes out on Switch, I will pick it up. Otherwise, I'll be sticking with MLB 20 for another year.

Re: 2022 gaming plans

Right now the only two games I'm definitely buying are MLB The Show '22 and the new Kirby game on the Switch.

I am looking to expand my Sega Genesis collection so when I'm out vintage game hunting that will be the console that I target heavily.

Nothing else really that I'm looking forward to, but that may change when/if I get a PS5.

Currently enjoying playing through older games with my 6 year old son.

Re: 2022 gaming plans

Persona 5 Royal
Hades
Snowrunner
Death Stranding
Madden 22

These will carry me to MLB 22 which I’m hoping will feature a true next gen leap in audio and lighting. Gimme some of those real-time volumetric clouds and some of that sweet, sweet ray-tracing SDS, I’m begging you!

Saints Row and GT7 will be day-one buys, or at least week-one.

My current ”wait for a deep sale” list on PS5:

Death’s Door
Nier Automata
Psychonaughts 2
Pathologic 2
Chernobylite
Sifu

I think I’m gonna pass on Elden Ring until a deep sale too. I suspect it’s gonna be awesome for a ton of people but I couldn’t finish Bloodborne or DSIII. The magic just isn’t there for me anymore after spending so much time with the first three games. (Not that anyone asked.)

Getting into NFT gaming for sure. Already made money investing in some so I’m gonna keep going this year. One I’m big on is Dogami.

Re: 2022 gaming plans

Realized I only posted about PS5 and not Series X lol, damn it’s going to be another year filled with playing way too many games. On Series X in 2022 I still need to finish the Halo Infinite campaign. The Outer Wilds is also coming back to Game Pass this week and I was kicking myself when it left the first time as I hadn’t tried it yet, and I keep hearing so many good things about it. Definitely downloading it when I get home and will jump in on Thursday when it’s available to play via Game Pass again. These games along with my casual Forza Horizon 5 play time, and any other surprises that hit Game Pass, will be my 2022 Xbox experience. Can’t wait for Starfield!

Re: 2022 gaming plans

Im only planning on two purchases this year, MLB 22 and Dying Light 2.

Will be three, if EA Sports PGA is released this year.
