CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK

***** GOTW *****
#1 SOUTH CAROLINA vs #5 AUBURN

In what has been another crazy year we have arrived to the last week where there is finally clarity as to who is for real and who isnt. Stanford takes the #1 spot in the BCS while SC holds the top spot in the coaches poll. Both Stanford and SC both are the favorites in their respective Conference Championships, but ironically they are both facing the only conference opponents to beat them during the regular season. Stanford lost by 1 point to Utah before winning 9 straight games. They have found their rhythm and I dont see Utah upsetting them again. SC however is playing a much tougher opponent in Auburn and this game could go either way. The Tigers are coming off of an emotional road win against Bama which got them into this game but they will have to keep their focus to finish the job. At #5 they have Georgia and NC State ahead of them in the BCS poll and knocking off #1 could very easily catapult them into the National Championship. The Gamecocks offense has been the best in college football hands down, but their lowest point total actually came against Auburn. This game should be the best game of the year if both teams show up. There are about 5 teams who realistically have a chance of getting to the Natty so every game this week will be huge.

Auburn keeps it close but South Carolina gets their revenge, beating Auburn 31-21 in the SEC championship.

BOWL WEEK

***** GOTW *****
#1 SOUTH CAROLINA vs #2 GEORGIA

Ladies and gentlemen, we have ourselves a rematch. If you go back to the offseason Georgia was expected to be in the title race under this new staff. Early in the season it became apparent that they just were not the same team as they were when Coach Cane was here. Injuries played a big part in the way the season went but somehow Georgia is right where they need to be with an opportunity to get revenge on the team that not only gave them their first loss, but also injured their QB for the majority of the season. Well Wynn is back and he has his eyes on a second championship ring. SC had high expectations but alot of question marks with a true freshman taking over at QB in Baker and one of the toughest opening schedules in college football history. They took their lumps early on but found their rhythm and a strong run game which has led them to the big dance. On the field these teams are actually very similar. Both have tough defenses, both have mobile QBs, both have a strong running game, but the edge for me goes to SC in their star running back Kris Green, only because Georgia is not starting theirs. The Bulldogs have a stable of backs but the star is Chad Wade who did not start under this new staff and will likely leave for the draft at the seasons end. He was the game changer that Georgia leaned on when they won the title 2 years ago and his explosiveness is what I think Georgia was missing the first time they played South Carolina this season and now. The Bulldogs have the talent to win this game but he was the tipping point. Green on the other hand was only a handful away from winning the Heisman. He has allowed the SC staff to revamp their offensive attack which has made them a very dangerous team.

Prediction: South Carolina 35 Georgia 27

Re: RIVALS LAST RUN 2028-2029

Not much to say about the 1st half tbh. Halftime score was 35-0, South Carolina. 2nd half wasn't much better but Georgia did score some points. If Georgia ran a different offense, they probably win or at least keep it close. I serious don't think Georgias 2 top wr had a catch all game and both were only thrown at 1 time apiece. South Carolina wins the National Championship beating Georgia, 49-21.

Same thing happened to MSU. Honestly Georgia's offense was better with their back up Qb running the show, at least against users. Idk their whole gameplan on offense was just running Wynn. Which was weird considering in the first game we played their top wr torched my db. Wade not starting definitely hurt their offense too.
