Heartbreak: Anyway, I'm glad I get some easy competition tonight. I need a win to make sure I can get back my NRVWA World Championship. Whatever your name is, you're going to need a nametag afterwards, because I'm going to beat you so badly you're going to contract Alzheimer's.

Sumner took this opportunity to rest this week, and quickly took care of Fast Eddie, locking in his Fujiwara Armbar after a some devastating offense.

Baltimore: Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to show you an interesting turn of events that happened when some NRVWA wrestlers were leaving the Underground Bar, here in Blacksburg, VA.

Mikey Batts, Sybernatico, Kurt Kastle, and Mike Snider are all leaving the Underground, laughing and having a wonderful time

Baltimore: Here's where things go awry.

Batts notices a group of other wrestlers, and urges the group to duck into an alley

Fullington: We're getting to my favorite part!

The four other wrestlers, The Awesome Seth, Alastair, Aden Frost, and Thomas Barr, follow them into the alley. They face off before erupting in a giant brawl

Fullington: Ah yes. NRVWA, you have done it again! He laughs

Double J vs The Young Celebrities

This match, like the others, was a pretty even affair. The finish started to become appartent when Vinod Singh charged at Dangerous J. J moved out of the way, and Vinod hit Ryan Cruise, sending him off of the apron and into the side barrier. Vinod was distracted enough for J to roll him up for the pinfall.

Winners and STILL NRVWA Tag Team Champions: Double J

Baltimore: Looks like the two losers are pretty upset after that ending.

Singh can no longer hold himself back, and clocks Cruise, sending him to the canvas

Kouen vs Johnny Heartbreak

These two wrestlers had different things to prove: Kouen wanted to move his way up the card to perhaps challenge for the NRVWA World Championship, and Heartbreak wanted to cement his spot as #1 Contender. Each wrestler was able to get some good offense in on the other, but Heartbreak had a little bit too much swagger, which opened up Kouen to take advantage, and pin the cocky wrestler.

Winner: Kouen

Breaking News from NRVWA Headquarters

Blacksburg, VA - Chigusa Nagayo today had a big announcement for the future plans of the New River Valley Wrestling Association, speaking through a translator.

"What we've come up with is a tournament, which is kind of like the WWE's King of the Ring, but with our own special twists and turns. This year, we will have all 16 competitors on the active roster eligible for the tournament. Therefore, we will have 4 rounds of competition. Seedings will be determined by win loss records of this year. There is one caveat: The champions of the promotion will occupy the top 4 spots. I will now unveil the seedings."

A more detailed seeding process is as followed. Each win that a wrestler has is worth 4 points. Each loss costs a wrestler 2 points. A draw is a loss of 0.5 points. Being Champion gives a point bonus (World = 25, TV = 15, Tag = 5).

Here are the seedings:

1. Andy Sumner (NRVWA World Champion) - 47 points
2. Mikey Batts (NRVWA Television Champion) - 28 points
3. Dangerous J (NRVWA Tag Team Champion) - 25 points

"It is important to note that this tournament does not mean champions do not get to relax. If their match allows for their championship to be on the line, then it will be on the line. As for the format, the first two rounds will consist of regular singles matches. After the first round, the participants will be reseeded. The 3rd round will be a tag team match between the remaining four. The two winners from that match will then challenge each other for the King of the Stars cup. This cup means that the winner can make one wish in the company. This wish can almost anything. Timmy Baltimore is the person that will OK the wish, and at that point, the wish will spring to life on that show."

This tournament will last all April, with the King of the Stars champion being crowned the last show of the month. From now on, it is expected to be a yearly event. However, it seems as though the format might change from year to year.

Baltimore: Welcome to NRVWA River Madness! Tonight, we start the King of the Stars Tournament! The opening round is just so exciting, we couldn't fit it in an hour!

Fullington: Indeed, Timmy. I'm pretty excited to see Johnny Heartbreak or The Awesome Seth take this home!

Baltimore: I'd watch out for Kouen, he made quite a stir with a big victory over Johnny Heartbreak in last week's main event!

Fullington: Yeah yeah, we all know it's going to be Johnny or Seth. But thanks for your contribution.

Frost and Kastle put one on for the crowd, but Frost was able to outlast and beat Kastle.

Sewell and Eddie came out determined to get to the second round, which resulted in a lot of even offense. At the end of the match, Sewell took a bit too long showboating for the fans on the top rope, which allowed Eddie to slam him to the mat and pick up the upset victory

Vinod Singh was completely outmatched in this match. Batts quickly beat Singh, and retained his Television Championship.

Ryan Cruise is backstage

Cruise: Alright, Cruise-aholics, I'm going to level with you. I have a match with Dangerous J tonight. I'm going to give him everything I can handle. I certainly feel like I'll be able to win, but as you have seen in previous weeks, I've been on the losing end of matches with him and his partner. This time, though, it's just me and him. No one to get in our way. J, I just want to warn you. I'm coming hardcore. Get ready.

--King of the Stars First Round Match--

Alastair is the larger man, which made it difficult for Kouen. Kouen continually attacked Alastair's legs to try to get him to one knee. Alastair used his power game to ground Kouen. Late in the match, Alastair was knocked to one knee. Kouen took advantage of the situation and hit an enzuiguri, which laid Alastair out in the middle of the ring. Kouen scrambled to get to the top rope, and hit a shooting star press, which led to the 1-2-3.

Winner: Kouen

Johnny Heartbreak is backstage

Heartbreak: Ah, so it's April! This must be my lucky month, considering that I'm obviously King of the Stars in this little rinky-dink promotion. So this week, I get to face Sybernatico. Thankfully, Alastair has been destroying Sybernatico for weeks, so this should be pretty easy. Also, if I get to face Sumner or Batts in the next round, I'm going to take their championships from them. It's going to be one hell of a tournament, so you won't want to miss out. Oh, and ladies, here's this:

--King of the Stars First Round Match--

Seth and Barr have seen each other in the ring before, so both knew what the other was capable of bringing. Both pulled out some new offense on the other. Barr held an advantage, it seemed, until late in the match, when Seth was able to use some of his high-flying antics to quickly swing the advantage his way, and was able to get the pin.

Winner: The Awesome Seth

Mike Snider was excited to be in a World Championship match, but this excitement got the best of him, as Sumner beat him handily, slapping on the Fujiwara Armbar.

Dangerous J and Cruise meet again in one way or another, but this has a big reward to those who win it: entrance into the second round. Dangerous J controlled most of the match, but Cruise caught Dangerous J by surprise and rolled him up for the surprise pin and the upset.

This match had a lot of high flying amazing looking parts of the match, but it was very even until late, when Heartbreak was able to lay down for the pin.
