Right now I think these reporters are not talking to real inside sources and are getting a lot of talk from higher ups (GM's using the media to paint a player a certain way or an relative of the owner who is on the board of directors who just has opinions about hearsay.)

Either way I don't think there should be anonymous sources in sports. Seriously its sports not military trade secrets.
Could be GM's or other higher ups, but again, haven't really seen anything that's been proven incorrect.

Good point, it's sports, not military trade secrets. I have no problem with them but that's a good point.

I hadn't read this article until just now. Very interesting indeed, but I wouldn't quite say it's "eyebrow raising." Good article though. Who knows if all of that stuff is true. And if it is true, oh well, at least it happened when his career is already over and he's probably going to be released by the Colts this offseason anyways.

I don't care. Everybody is different. Marvin seems like the quiet don't **** with me kind of guy. Just leave him alone and there won't be any issues. If he wants to be an ******* then fine. Im not gonna hate him for being Marvin. I still love how he carries himself on field. Thats enough for me.

Everyone(or most folks)on here is gonna hate this dude if the allegations are true. So what? He didn't kill hundreds of dogs, rape someone. He seems like he's one of the people with that mentality of if you do me wrong your gonna pay type of guy. I like that.

Re: Eyebrow-Raising Article on Marvin Harrison

This is very interesting. Personally I believe Marvin might have some kind of extra pull in the city. If you look at it strictly from a legal standpoint they had MORE than enough evidence to charge Marvin and take him to trial. Let's look at it. They have the weapon that was shot, they have the matching shell cases from that gun, two witnesses that say he shot the gun, and Marvin himself admitting to fighting the guy. Not to mention there is a law in Philly where if a gun was shot that is owned by you then you can be charged wether you shot the gun or not. If this had been a regular guy like you and me we would be sitting in a cell right now. The evidence points right at him and only him. Then you look at the fact that both of the guys who where shot say they are scared of the man and fear for their life it makes you wonder. Then the fact that they actually put one of the guys in protective custody tells you there must be some sort of legit threat on him. You don't just put a man in protective custody for no reason. The man still says he is scared and doesn't want to talk. That is serious business. Yet Marvin doesn't get as much as a warning yet two men where shot and a small childs life was put in danger. What would have happened if it was the two year old shot instead of the father??
