Not even.....

What's the point of saying a heavy favorite wont make the post season? To say in January "I told you so"....in reality all you did was just go as far to the left as you could for the sake of being contrary.

Its like the contestant that bets a $1.00 on the price is right because the next lowest bid is $1,000. You didn't come to any analytical reference, you just guessed the lowest number.

Also....I hold quorum with the Colts predictions....Manning had that bursa-sack issue with his knee and still played through and made the postseaon. Now that he has a neck issue people are chucking darts at a wall and guessing the colts wont make the postseason....when in reality there's really no competition in that division. If we are going to predict, predict with some analysis...otherwise its all superficial mumbo jumbo.

Anyway, my bold predictions:

Denver goes 4-12
Randy Moss stays retired
Houston fails to make the playoffs
Philly doesn't make the Super Bowl
NFC Championship Game: Packers/Falcons
AFC Championship Game: Patriots/Ravens
Jacksonville comes within a game of winning the AFC South
Dallas has one of the worst records in the league
Jets make the playoffs but are bounced in the Wild Card round
Giants fail to make the playoffs
Cam Newton ends up like Ryan Leaf
As far as Cam everything I'm hearing is he's doing everything you can expect a QB to do. I think it's the complete opposite of your prediction. I think he has a VY type rookie season only better.

As far as the Manning thing. Peyton started out the season below average when he missed the off-season and they barely got into the playoffs if I remember correctly. This is his 2nd neck surgery which is a red flag on top of missing the off season.

Come on man, what are you doing? It just seems like you don't like the idea of the thread, but if not then just let everyone else have their fun. You're arguing opinions... and ones that are admittedly a stretch... just not necessary.

Well see....that is a better summary, or one giving your prediction some merit. Although, Manning is coming off of career highs in comp, att, and yards with still a 66% comp%...in line with career averages. There's really no indicator he will fall off.

Re: Bold predictions thread 2011.

Derek Andersen starts week 1, but in Jake Delhomme fashion, Cam comes out in the 2nd half, leads them to victory, then takes the Panthers to the SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But seriously:
Deangelo and JStew both rush for 1,000 and 10+ TDs
Cam rushes for 700 yards and 8-10 TDs
Cam throws more TDs than INTs
Steve Smith returns to Pro Bowl form with 1,100 yards and 12 TDs
The Panthers OLine stays healthy, and they make the playoffs

And no, I don't really believe any of this will happen

Lol, as I was going down that list I was like "Come on... I feel really bad if he actually believes any of this..." and then I got to the bottom.

Re: Bold predictions thread 2011.

Seahawks use only half the amount of player combinations on the O-line as they did last year.
