Re: NFL Off Topic

Kap has all the talent in the world but like RGIII there are severe holes in his game that have kept him from being a top of the line QB. His best success has come from playing within a read option that utilizes his mobility and athleticism. I don't think he'll ever be a pocket QB so his time in the spotlight is going to be rather short. Honestly, I wonder if teaming him up with Roman again might help. Roman was able to take the best of Kap's ability to roll out while still employing a strong run attack.

I'm just not sure the Bills would be willing to start over with a "star" QB who is in reality still very much a project in the pros.

Almost have to draft one. But Baalke will probably take some guy with a busted shoulder in the fourth round as a "redshirt" pick.

So, do Hackenberg and O'Brien reunite next year in Houston?

I don't want to touch Kaep with a 10 foot pole unless Tyrod Taylor disappears in to thin air. I don't think even Roman's offense fits what Kaep wants to and can do. It worked at first, but something changed the last year there and it ended ugly. Don't think I wanna test a reunion.

LOL @ Mallet. It's amazing how some players get every chance because they have the tools or look good in practice, yet aren't committed and/or simply don't get it done on the field. Not sure if he'll get another shot because his problems have been well documented through his college days. There might be just enough bad tape on him to keep desperate teams away.
