Re: Best NFL receiving corps

For me it's still Denver, the best Passing team from last season. Thomas/Thomas, Welker are still there. Lost Decker but added Sanders, and a promising Rookie prospect in Latimer? When you add in Peyton is still playing at a high level as a whole they will probably be the most productive again.

I have the Lions at #2. Calvin is the best receiver in the game currently so him alone gives that group a lot of credence, Golden Tate should give them a legitimate second Wide out, and if Ebron plays up to his Draft billing.. Stafford will have plenty of options. (I know we're not factoring in Running Backs but Reggie Bush splits out and runs routes as Receiver often as well)

If we're looking at just One, Two, Wide Receivers Chicago would be at #1. As Marshall, and Jeffery are about as capable, and comparable in skill level around the board as they come; and Bennett is a fairly underrated Tight End. Although he's not a gamechanger like a (Graham, Gronk, VDavis)

After that it's just the best of the rest Colts, Saints, Niners, heck even Baltimore has a fairly solid receiving corps. all around. Tampa could be a wild card, as a team that could air it out a lot this season.

Good call. Can't believe I forgot about them.

Re: Best NFL receiving corps

I'd go Broncos.

Though homerish pick was tough, Jordy, Cobb, Boykin, Adams is pretty good.

Re: Best NFL receiving corps

It's gotta be the Broncos there, Sanders is the weak link but everyone else has the potential to be a star. Other then them, the Redskins are overlooked now that they have DeSean Jackson.

Re: Best NFL receiving corps

Why didn't 49ers pass more?
Because they run the ball well both with RBs and with Kaep.
Because Kaep isn't the best passer.
Because they had the lead most of the time so there was no need to pass a lot.

I also voted 49ers, if they had a great passing QB, that would be scary as hell.

Re: Best NFL receiving corps

I think the Niners have the potential to be the best of the bunch, but for now I give the Bears a slight edge over the Broncos for the best.

I really really wanted the Niners to draft Jeffery a few years ago. Instead, we drafted Jenkins. Ouch.

Re: Best NFL receiving corps

Definitely not the deepest but the Cardinals have one of best receiver duos. My opinion, Floyd is on the cusp of being top 10 and Fitz is just Fitz. Now if they only had a quarterback to throw them the ball...
