That would be cool with modern day wrestlers. I still play this game from time to time.

Idk if it would work on the Xbox. I got it on the iPad and it's like I remember, the one thing i kept thinking though was that it wouldn't work on consoles well. but im interested to see where they go with DLC.

scotty060 I'm curious why you dont think this would work on xbl? arcade classic beat em ups like tmnt, xmen, and simpsons work well on the console.

gameplay, love it, nice fun change of pace and brings back so many memories of playing this in the arcade. downfall, IMO the roster stinks. i was hoping for more, wanted the old school roster, mixed with the new guys of today. sad

I wonder when exactly the PSN and Xbox live versions will be released. Just saying during the calender year of 2012 makes me think it's going to be a while.

Just from my experience the button mashing would be crazy on the controller. The only time I've won a match was when I did nothing but hit the red button over and over without breaking the whole fight. Idk how great that would feel on a controller.

You guys know they make "arcade sticks" for use on today's consoles, right?

Control wouldn't be an issue on consoles.

Reps from WWE Games report that they are working on the WrestleFest version for Android and that it will be released soon. The game will later be released on PC, XBLA and PSN, as well as Android. It can be downloaded on iPhone and iPad now.

XBOX.com has Wrestlefest releasing on XBLA on August 29. As a PS3 guy, I don't know how often that info is correct, though I would imagine that Microsoft's site would get that type of info.

My only concern is the "content downloads" portion of the description. Does that indicate DLC, or is that also used to describe potential themes or avatar items?

Buying the game and all DLC on iOS gives you a total of $9. Not bad at all, and I'd be all over it if they release the "complete" (game + DLC) game for $10 (or even $15) on PSN. If they have a "base" game, and then run the same DLC schedule, I lose all interest in it. I would hope this is just released as a "complete" package in one shot.
