Exophase has posted some interesting information, as they reveal the NBA 2K13 achievements.

Play a MyTEAM game online.
Adjust your "Total Sim Control" strategy in The Association or Season mode.
Play a MyPLAYER Blacktop game online.
Play with an historic team online.

That is what I expect.
So I guess MyCareer/MyPlayer is the new mode. MP needed more depth off the court, hopefully they deliver. MC/MP is usually talked about on the 1st week of Sept.

I like that you can buy pre-game rituals and sign endorsement contracts, should add more depth.

How does Today Association work? Is it just an association based off the actual season?

Like that you can buy Sig Skills, but I hope ratings play a part. I dont want to be able to buy Corner Specialist if I have 50 3pt.

I hope they go more into Sig Skills soon.

Even the guys at EA developing the shut down NBA Live game got excited when they read this post. They'll have this classic for the console and the one they were developing for their mobile devices.

I was wondering that too whats the difference between that and playing NBA today? Can you move to the next season in MLB if you started near the end of the real world year?

So let's put out the safe assumptions so far:

MyPlayer has been replaced with MyCareer (multiple MyCareer Achievements that look like old MyPlayer achievements; very little mention of MyPlayer)
MyTeam (new mysterious mode) can be played online; Possibly crew mode, could be custom teams, "Ultimate Team", or some type of new coaching mode
MyTeam is not the same as Team-Up (assumed due to their being two separate achievements)
"Historical teams" can be played online
MyPlayer Blacktop Mode is back
New "Total Sim Control" feature in Association/Season Mode
Create a Legend Mode has Returned
Online Association has returned
New 2K Shoe Creator - might be further enhancement of 2K12's NIKEiD mode

Madden and NHL have the ultimate team stuff. A few years ago MLB 2k had this, wouldn't be surprised if NBA 2k is doing the same.

i dont think so man. why would crew mode need boosters when everyone eventually hits 99 as a player or close to anyway. boosters arent needed in the mode
