Something I noticed that seems improved from last year is when the ball lands in the stands. You very rarely if ever see the ball hit something in the stands that makes it bounce in the air 15 feet and fall 50 feet from where it originally hit. Last year, that happened constantly. But watching this video, it seems much more realilistic, it just gets lost in the crowd. Nice job, SCEA. Thanks CozyBean!

Those inbetween due up overlays still have the players AVG instead of 1 for 1 type of info

I thought this was changed for 13?

O well maybe next year.

Game still looks like a nice improvment over 12

I always asked myself why the score bug disappears after hits or foul balls. There's no need for it all.

That curveball at 2:45 was a HANGER!

Hang 'em and Bang 'em!

HOF looks like the settings for me. PCI reduced in size by about half after he changed

Is it me or did they cut out a lot of pitcher commentary? Seems like more dead air than 12

Especially now that the scorebug is a lot smaller there should definitely be at least a option to have it stay on all the time.

Maybe something to look forward to in MLB 14 The Show.

Did you guys notice the pulsating icon in the runners window?
First time Ive noticed that.

announcing bug to make note of:

matt said 'it was game 2 of a 3 game series, during the pre game.
But after Escobar made an out, he said; and the batter is set down here in game one'.
unless doubleheaders are in. which i doubt, seeing as game one wouldnt be in dusk. lol

I've noticed the time of 1st pitch was 7:06 but the clocks in the dugouts says 2:55. What's up with that?

# 14 econoodle @ 03/01/13 03:31 PM
also, there was ZERO announcing from anyone but matt until the home run like 4 minutes into the video. and that was because of the home run replay audio trigger from karros.

just crazy. lol

That indicates the active/selected runner when using new baserunning. It's always been there.

The dugout clocks have always been set to 2:55 - I did actually look to see see if they had been synched to the stadium clocks, since the Philly ones are so noticeable lol.

Something kind of bugging me is that the crowd is way to jumpy and loud for a game in April.. It seems like they are watching a nlcs game. But no biggie I guess, just turn down the crowd noise in the settings menu.

Only gripe I had is when the HR was hit at the 2:45 mark the Right fielder just ran straight back to the right center wall. Eventhough the announcer said that the ball "hit high off the foul pole", the video showed that it hit like only 20 feet from the ground. Another 10 feet lower and 3 inches to the right that would of been a fair ball and the right fielder wouldnt of been anywhere near it. Its a small complaint but not a huge deal. The rest of the video looks dope and I cant wait to play it!!!!!

Uhhh yeah, always... including '12.

If you still have '12, play a game with new baserunning controls, and move the left stick to point to a runner when the ball is in play, his icon will start to flash. Press a base button to tell him where to go... always.
