O.S.

Okay...Finally the time is here!

Thank you everyone for your patience in regards to this year's release.

We had one hitch towards the end....and I (we) are hoping that everything is alright with that one member.

That being said... I have to say that this year's group of editors have put together a tremendous effort with this year's version of the O.S.F.M.

I want to thank each and every member participating on the chart and from the work thread... but there are a couple of guys who I just have to mention, that went above and beyond with their effort and support.

yanksdaniel99 picked up quite a few teams that were vacant as we got into the process. It was a big help with him setting up those clubs.

Throwback and Willard76 went above and beyond to help out with multiple teams to work on faces (Willard on top of rating 2 teams as well) and especially down the homestretch when it was getting very tight

... and last but CERTAINLY not least... RidinDwnKingsley who rated multiple teams... as well as doing ALL the exporting and importing of every player for the set AND testing the set for balance.

Thanks to O.S. as well... Steve for allowing us to use the O.S. name in conjunction with the set and the mods who I'm sure dread when this time of year comes around and they have to keep the peace... and keep the threads moving and productive. They do a tremendous job.

Guys... I can't stress enough how I want to thank each and every guy who participates in the process... not just the guys doing the editing (who do a GREAT JOB)... but also the guys who provide input in the multiple threads.

Every year I am more and more impressed at how well this site works together to make this happen.

If you really think about it... it's a truly impressive process.

On that note... I'm going to ask you to think about how much time and effort these guys put in to making this work... and in doing so, deserve a certain amount of civility and respect when commenting on a particular part of the work. All feedback is welcome... as long as you present it in a civil manner.

That's all any of us ask of this.

Again... thank you for you patience and enjoy the O.S.F.M. 2013 Edition!... and

Enjoy The Show!

M.K.

Thanks osfm team for presenting us with the best rosters in the world!!!!

I've got a question. What do you have to do to download these to your flash drive? Do you have to create folders? I am on psn but just can't wait till the drop in the vault.

I know you guys probably get this a lot but you mentioned it will be available for download from here and it won't be in the vault until a little bit later, how long will that be before they are available in the roster vault? Again not trying to sound annoying just wanting to know.

Thank you so much to everyone who worked so hard to make this happen. It truly brings this game to a whole new level.

Firstly, a HUGE thanks to everyone. Can't even begin to comprehend the time gone into this operation. You guys really care, and that's awesome.
Secondly, I can't wait to check out the roster. But I do have a question about the differences in the ST and OD sets. I know there are "changes and edits" and all that stuff, but do you all wait for the OD to come out or start playing with the ST right away? Again, thanks so much to everyone!

Like everyone else has mentioned, I just wanted to say thanks to EVERYONE involved. Every single person that played any part what so ever.

I'm a hardcore Astros fan. So these rosters mean more to a guy like me than to some others. The whole thing about being an Astros fan is taking pride in our farm system. So what y'all do....I...I can't thank y'all enough which is why I'm struggling with words.

I play every farm system game, to play with the young guys myself.

Thank you again...for making the Show the best game out there. You guys are nothing short of amazing.

Here's my typical "Thanks for all the work you guys do" post.

I would be lying if I said for the past 24 hours, I haven't been refreshing the MLB The Show Roster forum and keeping tabs on Ridin's Twitter.

I even checked these forums earlier in the afternoon - while in class - on my cell phone to check for any updates.

Just went through a mini-crisis when I couldn't find my PS3 controller charger as I planned to prep my controller for a full night of gaming seeing as how I don't have classes on Wednesday nor do I have work tomorrow. Not to mention I have a late class - and no work again - on Thursday as well. Needless to say, I will be getting in my fair share of gaming with these impeccable rosters.

Every time I found myself slightly frustrated with the process, I stopped and reminded myself how all you guys are doing this for free and how time consuming it is. I have a slight idea because before I discovered OSFM, I used to do a remedial version on my own where I would literally go through every single generated player in the game and change their name to a corresponding minor league player in real life. Never did anything extensively tedious like motions/gear/looks, so I can't imagine how much work has to go into making it perfect.

Sorry for ranting - just trying to kill a little time until these get released, I guess

I have the great pleasure in saying I had the ability to work on the Twins and there couldn't be a harder working group around. The time put into this project is amazing and I thank each and everyone of you guys that devoted everything into this roster!

How convenient. My wife "accidentally" drank zzzquil instead of grape drink tonight.

Thanks everyone who puts time into these rosters.
