NBA 2K13 Roster Update Details (4-12-13)

Another NBA 2K13 roster update arrived this morning. It contains 1 player rating adjustment for Kevin Love, who is out for the season. Everything else was player injury specific. As always, thanks to The Real 2K Insider for his breakdown.

The season is about to be over, just put everybody back in healthy and call it a day because the Insider has no idea how to adjust the rosters properly.

but JR isnt that far off of what he should be, jeff green is completely lacking of attention from 2k.

hopefully there is a rating update tomorrow. I recall last time they made a injury update they made a rating update the next day.

You're right about offensive rebounding and scoring around the rim.
Corner specialist...not really. He's actually a slightly below average shooter from the corners. I've looked it up and he's shooting 38% from the left and only 32% from the right corner.
He's much better from above the break, shooting almost 42%, so no corner specialist at all.

I just asked for a lil layup boost he takes a lot of contact and finishes and hits some very acrobatic shots . Now for the sigs lockdown defender , the guy is a freaking pest on defense he gives everyone trouble he knows where to be always . Hustle Points literally contributes to his offensive rebounding but not that I think of it this is prob not needed , should be given to Melo for sure . As a start ha averaging 16 and 7 shooting 48% and 42 from the 3 . IMO he isn't better than Shump who is rated 6 points higher . Yes I know he's coming off injury but he's literally the same player he was last season and yet he got a one point boost based off what ? All my suggestions can be looked up and justified .

I would also appreciate it if they increase Vince Carter's 3pt rating and add corner specialist too. This past week dropped Vince Carter below .400 while he was having his best 3pt shooting season in recent memory. It is currently a .398 with it being well above .400 throughout the season. 2K never did anything with his rating this year. I doubt Jimmy Butler will receive an update from 2K. 2K doesn't update many players that deserve it unless they're in a popular team.
For example, Deron William's 3pt rating increased to 84 while he's currently shooting .375 from the 3pt arc. Vince Carter and Deron Williams shoots roughly the same amount of 3s. Deron Williams passed VC in 3pts attempted back in March. This is when VC was shooting over .400 from 3pt and Deron Williams at a lower percentage. Deshawn Stevenson was shooting over .400 back in March too, but his 3pt rating didn't get change from the low 70s. He's currently shooting .371 from 3pt and he's no where near 84, granted he shoots less 3s.

I really wish 2K would update Jimmy Butler too, but if he's not a popular player, I doubt they would do anything unfortunately.

PKnicks just signed Solomon jones. A free agent in the game. 2k got to keep up with the nba news. And Kurt Thomas got cut

Kenyon is day 2 day so he should stay in the rotation and chandler might sit out until the playoffs.

lol i sort of figured it was seeing you have a jazz logo but can't be to sure with people these days.

@red kafe i just finished re doing the bulls roster i got jimmy butler at a 76 overall with 57/46 rebounding 74 3pt, no sig skills.

vince carter 2013 stats.. 29% corner 3, 42% non corner 3..thats not corner specialist. his 82 3pt rating is exactly what it should be

If anyone deserves an update on the Knicks it's melo. Been rebounding pretty well as of late. And his scoring binge speaks for itself. Jr is fine. He might even be a little too high

The last one should have kept jr the same. Lowered shumpert a little but raised his three. Lower James white(no explanation needed) side note. Does anyone know if they will ever give home colors for the melo 9s? Those green ones are horrific

Melo is rated at an 82 on my roster, but that is at PF, 88 at SF. sig skills are shot creator, hustle, microwave, deadeye, heat retention

JR i got at 81 with microwave shot creator and finisher
