NBA 2K14 Box Art (360, PS3, PC)

LeBron James was named the cover athlete for NBA 2K14 a few hours ago. Check out the official NBA 2K14 box art for 360, PS3 and PC.

Official box art for the Xbox One and PS4 will be revealed at a later date.

They've been making it on the PC since 2K9, so you could have bought 2K13 on the PC and have it modded.

definitely not a fan of lebon bon james but he is deserving to be on the cover. I kind of like this cover, I think it's miles ahead of nba 2k13 box art which was straight booty. Like others I would like to see them use another color than red all the time, I guess it fits this cover since miami's colors are red and black, much like MJ and his covers being red was justifiable because the bulls colors are red and black, last year though.....moving on.

I think it's crap, tbh. I mean nothing on that photo says 'BASKETBALL' to me, just a player with a basketball jersey lookin cool... with a close up of his face in the background...

Anyway...Lebron is deserving of the cover in my opinion. Even though I'm not a fan, 2K needs to put the game's best on the cover since it has competition with EA this year. And as previously said, if you don't like the cover, just get a custom one--8 of my 11 game covers are custom made (the one I have for 2K13 is my avatar).

We talkin' about a cover. Not a game, not a game, not a game...we talkin' about covers man. Covers. Who's gonna play the cover? Do you set the case by your tv and look at the cover when you play the game? It's just a cover guys.

It's about branding, not artistic merit. Red stands out on the shelf.
