So far for me I played NCAA for maybe an hour and APF for at least ten. Gameplay and fun factor are the most important parts of the game that draw me back to play. Right now for me APF is holding my interest for single player don't know how long it may last bur for now I am having a blast with the game offline and online.

Why would it be such a big deal if teams had the same players?

No, I am not. I played against guys online that had same players. I still had a good game.

I think it kind of defeats the purpose of a league to have the same player play on multiple teams. It would suck if 8 of the top 10 rushers were the same guy. Kinda takes away from the immersion of a league.

My Barry is better than yours isn't a good theme for league play.

It'll last me a long time.

Great gameplay. That's all I wanted... I don't give a rat's *** about franchise or any of those modes - I like to play single games and mix things up a bit here and there.

Great game.

I had the same problem until I started a season and my generic guys started to make plays as the season has gone on I am in love with my defensive line (all generics with 2 gold db's, a bronze db) So as they get sacks or stuff the run they have started growing on me.

The same thing happens in madden. As my franchise went on in years and all my Raiders started to either retire, leave through FA or what not I started growing attached to the generic players that I was drafting.

Re: Does anybody with the game see it having longevity OFFLINE?

I can see that I'm enjoying the game even though there's no franchise mode. I keep switching legends to see what combination I like best. Right now I'm going to stack up my defense and see how well that works out. I have yet to get past the 4th game in a season, lol . And I've just recreated the 49er jersey, however the logo/mascot is the Sharks just because of their stadium location. Man this game is fun.

And I'm an avid online multiplayer gamer. I have yet to checkout the game on Live. So depending on how well you like the offline gaming, I do not think you'll be disappointed.
