DJ Bunn is the only nonqualifier I think you missed, though some of those were expected attrition. For all the worrying people had about making the numbers work, now the Heels have scholarships open. Like I said, lets just get the season going at this pont

The coaches seem to like Barth more at kicker, so I guess Wooten felt he had a better opportunity there. I thought he looked pretty solid in his chances last season.

Re: Butch's Brood - UNC Tar Heel Thread

UNC released their 2-deep for the weekend. I like what they have....for next year. Just 6 senior starters, 8 total on the 2 deep. That means out of the top 52 players, 44 will be there opening day next fall. 30 years after UNC's last ACC title, I want one in 2010. I expect nothing less. It makes no sense Carolina has been the best out of 300+ teams in basketball 4 times, since they were the best in a 12-team maximum league in football. It is past time.

Re: Butch's Brood - UNC Tar Heel Thread

Dwight Jones is out for the game against Citadel and probably longer after having knee surgery. Not sure how long he'll be sidelined.

I guess we get to see Adams a little sooner than expected, but he's been getting good reviews.

Great. The most inexperienced position is now getting injury-ridden.
