I'm working on it.

Meanwhile, here's the AP's new Top 25 Greatest Teams of All Time, compiling every season's final ranking from the first year in 1935 through 2018 and assigning points based on rankings (#1 gets 25 points, #2 gets 24 points, #3 gets 23 points, etc).

They went 7-6 with an elite defense because Richt's offense of 5 plays from 3 formations was surprisingly shut down. I don't know what happened between 2017 and 2018. His offense in 2017 was nothing innovative, but he literally ran the same 5-6 plays 90% of the time in 2018. I don't know if he was checked out or what. If Miami had scored 28 points exactly each game, no more, no less, then Miami goes 11-1. That team is as infuriating as the 2014 team that had all 11 starters on offense make it pro and play multiple years that had more draft picks than wins.

I would think Miami will eventually find a coaching staff that can produce a good offense and a good defense simultaneously, but it's starting to look like that is impossible. The 2017 offense was okay, but it was definitely not good. It just had decent enough play calling to out athlete basically everyone it played until Rosier turned into a turnover machine that couldn't even hit 50% of his throws.
I could say the same thing about another UM team running stubborn archaic offenses and relying on elite defenses

It's depressing, isn't it? I honestly think it was more frustrating to watch that Miami team lose the way it did weekly compared to the Golden era teams that could score every possession, but could never get a stop either.

I believe it was Ncaa football 2009 or 2010. I'm not 100% sure though

Re: College Football Off Topic

I'm surprised to see only one Miami team. I would have expected the 1990 team on there also.

Re: College Football Off Topic

They probably could've done multiple different seasons for each of those teams. For example, only one Alabama team?

I feel like everyone loved that 1990 Miami team, because those guys didn't give a single ****.
