So here's an update, kids. I successfully smothered the beast like an unwanted baby. It overheated and I got my rings I'd wanted. I decided to turn it on once more just for kicks. My 360 is now working perfectly lol. Even though my problem didn't fit the criteria for the towel method, it has brought my system back from the dead. For those of you with any seemingly terminal issues, I recommend at least giving it a try.

TAKE THAT, MICROSOFT! I'LL BE KEEPING MY $99, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! (At least until it dies again)
