Re: Savoie Style: NHL 13

Hi Savoie and all players.

I test ur first set with tuner 1.01 and have so good games.
I test each time set sliders in 4 games and my results are : win 5-3, loss 5-2 and 3-1, loss at shotout 2-1. With so pefect game stats.

Now i test ur set with changes in red with tuner 1.04.
First of my 4 games : i loss 5-1 versus Winnipeg.
Second game versus New York Rangers : i loss 5-1.

I find ur first set better than one with tuner 1.04 so i back with it.

these updated (one with red) sliders and 1.04 tuner is FANTASTIC! you're a genius...a guru of sliders Total penalties in 5 games: CPU 20 (ave. 4 per game) vs ME 23 (ave. 4.6 per game). the game feels "loose" in a good way.

How do these play with the Attribute Effects on 3? I know somebody did some work testing this and I thought that that most of the community settled on setting this to 5?

That's odd to me, because in theory it should be easier with the Cpu Difficulty lowered. Maybe the tuner made the difference . In any case glad you're enjoying one of my sets

...thanks man, glad you like 'em. I was thinking of raising the pass speed so that maybe more passes would bounce over sticks and such, but it only seems to effect human controlled teams so I think not.

Re: Savoie Style: NHL 13

Just played first game of my Big8HL (8 teams with best players in the NHL spread out). Was simply incredible.

4 penalties overall, 11 goals, breakaway since the game got out of hand on one side, checks all over the place. It was like an All-Star game but with intensity in it!

11 goals on 49 shots was a bit high, but I'll see if it's only one game or something that occur often with 4 lines of great players.

Thanks for the work, it's just make the game more fun!

Re: Savoie Style: NHL 13

Just played a game with your latest settings. Must say, very impressed!!! Great job on these, Savoie!!

Don't laugh to hard at how the CPU owned me on shots on goal and time on attack. I just made the jump up to this difficulty level so I suck pretty bad, hahaha. Also I played the whole game using the true broadcast cam....VERY FUN with these sliders I must say.

The game was closer than the score suggests, Patrick Sharp scored an open net goal with 5 seconds left to ice it. I was nervous as hell too over the last few minutes of the game as Phoenix had a flurry of shots at the end....yikes!!

Here's the box score from this game........
