EA MMA also sold horribly and got bad review scores...

Beta Stream -- Brian Hayes -- "I don't want 1-shot KOs in this game; if you get knocked out, I want you to know why you got knocked out, not some random occurrence"

^^^ Fail

I agree we don't want 'pure randomness' but not having 1-shot KOs in this game hurts my soul.

Unfortunately I don't remember EA MMA that much it's been way too long and I've ingested way too many chemicals LOL I need to boot that game up for the first time since 2011 and test out those 1-shot KOs again

How was that even remotely sim then lol. One hit KOs are pretty rare in real life too. They do happen, but never would the result be the same every time.

The problem is most people believe its randomness. I remember a ton of people saying that about EA MMA even though it was all caused by vulnerability windows.

It was not a for sure one hit ko... very rare actually. Once you hit them in that window it was a roll of the dice. Most of the time it was a rock or they just got dropped. Rarely did it ever just one hit ko. It was perfect.

I'm not saying it was sim lol. I'm just saying it was more realistic and similar to how one hit ko's play out irl. Plus it didn't happen every single time you hit them in the window, but that increased the chances of it happening. You watch mma enough so i'm sure you know most times it's getting caught flush by a hard shot, getting caught mid strike or running into a strike that results in flash ko's most times. That's the point i'm getting at really...the way the flash ko's happened. It wasn't just some random strike that caused it.
