Re: Vikings CCM

Vikings playing like the return of Peterson has rejuvenated the whole offense.

Offense is hot, defense doing the job. Looking good heading into the stretch drive.

TWITTER FEEDS

@MattmillerEA - Bears will be dissatisfied to say the least after coming up short at home.

@SCollinsEA - You see all those sacks? The Bears QB didn't stand a chance. Vikings D is for real.

@RossTuckerEA - 1,000-yrd rushers aren't what they use to be, but it's not like you don't want M.Forte on your team.

@RossTuckerEA - I don't think Brandon Marshall is ever satisfied so he won't give a second thought to 1,000 yards.

Yeah, love what I see out of the offense and defense.

Peterson has rejuvenated this offense and has helped a ton. Todman has played very well this season, Started to games and has 5 touchdowns.

No doubt, I'm a pretty good runner so it fought just about anyone I could the ball. But the fact is that I don't run on a consistent basis.

Soon realize that having Peterson back in the lineup it has made a huge difference on how your blocks and how smooth every goes.

Yep - I think it's the BCV rating. At least that what it seems to be for me. I know it's said it impacts just CPU players, but - I don't know if that's the case.

Not sure, since Peterson has been back seems like the blocks are a tad better. Or it might be coincidence.

Re: Vikings CCM

FIGHTING FOR FIRST PLACE.
Packers defense smothered Minnesota Vikings 23-13.

Green Bay, WIS - Opening drive for the Packers was a strange series. They opened up by running the ball with Benson. With 3rd down and 4 to go, they complete a short pass for a first down. Packers wouldn't get the next two pass completed, that left a 3rd and 10. Vikings sent a 4 man rush allowing plenty of time for Rodgers to pick them apart, and that he did throwing a long jump ball to Jennings. Rookie FS Raymond miss timed his jump and allowing the long pass to be completed for a touchdown.

Second quarter Minnesota lost A.Peterson to a forearm fracture, will be out for six weeks. Backup running back Todman stepped up huge, capping off a 84 yard drive with a 13 yard touchdown up the middle. Green Bay's next drive lead to a interception (Winfield). Minnesota started with great field position, only to fail to complete any passes. Green Bay took the ball and drove 63 yards for a field goal. Minnesota received the ball with 1:45 seconds left starting on their own 23 yard line. Ponder would make great passes to lead them to a final second field goal, score at half time 10-10.

Third quarter was all Green Bay, as they made great adjustments on defense. Green Bay picked off Ponder twice in the quarter. Rodgers completed yet another long pass to Greg Jennings for a 54 yard touchdown. Green Bay would later get a field goal, score at end of the third 20-10 Green Bay.

Vikings would start the fourth quarter with the ball. Again Green Bay defense would har*** Ponder sacking him 2 times in the 4th. Ponder couldn't get into a rhythm in this game. In the 4th quarter they did lose Percy Harvin for 6 weeks.Minnesota did get one good drive in the 4th, only to be stopped on the 6 yard line for a field goal. Green Bay would finally eat out the clock and get a field goal to put the game away.

7-5 team Minnesota still has a chance to make the playoffs. With the loss of AP and Harvin could hurt their chances at making it this year. Vikings have been in this position before and it wasn't pretty at all.
