Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Ok now that I finished watching the Jays vs Yankees game (Sorry AC) and got on my game to look at the standing and stats the Rangers are 9.5 gave out in the divisible and 5.5 in the wood card so don't see them needing Kuroda. This really sucks cuz i was looking forward to trading with them lolLast edited by Legaci3; 07-25-2014, 08:57 PM.Currently Playing:

Haha ok I understand. Maybe just look around for a contender that has a young SS that you would want (probably a minor leaguer) and that could use Gardner and maybe even Kuroda.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Have you checked in on Didi Gregorius? I'm sure he can be had for Murphy or Cervelli and another prospect.
EDIT: Also check in on Dee Gordon. If you can obtain him without giving up Gardner. You could have a 9-1-2 or 1-2-3 of speed at the top of the lineup for the thumpers in the middle of the lineup. Of course if you utilize the run game they'd be great!Last edited by DJeterFan2; 07-25-2014, 11:40 PM.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
How are the Mariners doing in your Franchise. As a M's fan I would love Gardner in our lineup despite the fact he bats lefty. We need someone at the top of the order who can get on base and steal bases.
If you like Miller/Franklin or Taylor any of those 3 could work for you playing 2B this year and moving over to SS next season after Jeter is gone.
Not sure what else you are looking for but M's have some pretty solid young OF's like Gabby Guerrero or young SP's like Sanchez, Diaz, Pike as well as Paxton or Hutlzen.Comment

MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I am in June in year 2 (ratings are pretty much the same) and want to make a trade with the cubs, who are actually in wild card contention, which I don't believe will be much longer. This trade might be hard to pull off but I guess I won't know until I try.
The dumb CPU put Addison Russell on the block even though it should probably put Starlin Castro on the block. The cubs are in need of a CF bad and Dexter Fowler has been playing well in my Chise so I wanted to include him.
Hou sends:
Dexter Fowler (81 Ovr) 28 yo .278/363/.423 3HR 25 RBI
SP Luis Cruz (73 Ovr High B pot) 24 yo 2-6 3.91 ERA in AAA
SP Josh Hader (67 Ovr High B pot) 21 yo 5-4 3.71 ERA in AA
Brett Oberholtzer (78 Ovr high C pot) 3-5 5.20 ERA in majors
Cubs sends:
Starlin Castro (85 Ovr High B pot) 24 yo .287/328/427 10 HR 31 RBI
Junior Lake (73 Ovr low B pot) .244 0HR 3 RBI-- wouldn't show OBP and Slug for him because he was sent down to AAA--
I have a feeling this isn't enough so I can add more if need be. Addison Russell and Baez are in MLB and I see Russell taking the starting job in a few months. They are also about to bring up Alcantara and Bryant soon as well. I know the Cubs need pitching so that is why I am giving up a lot of pitchers. Trying to make this deal as fair as I can as well as trying to keep it sort of realistic.

I think you'd probably have to add another prospect. Cubs need arms and the Stros have got some good ones....Chicago Cubs
Michigan Wolverines
Thanks Peyton. #18Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Yeah I guess Starlin wouldn't get traded until the last year of his team friendly deal, thanks for the input man.
Didn't feel too good about having to deal all those SP anyway.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
You said Cubs were in the WC race but it's only June 2. So I think it's to early for them to decide if they are buyers. If they were still in it around the All-Star break then I would say yes they would be open to trading, but that's when they would more likely deal Baez with the type of season Castro is having and they would be looking for a MLB arm that isn't 3-5 with a ERA over 5.00 and some AAA and AA guy's. What they would want and get is a guy who is close to double digit wins with a nice ERA, similar to what Oakland got when they dealt Russell for Shark and Hammels.Comment

It's actually June 20, but still kinda early, I'm in year 2. I agree now that I look back to the deal. I want to keep my SP's so I'm not going to do it.
I don't know if they'd trade Baez still though, no matter how Starlin is doing. But you never know I guess.

Jaime Garcia has no spot in my rotation right now. I'm in the middle of May with not many glaring holes. I just find it unrealistic to leave him wasting away in AAA. What's a realistic trade in this situation?NEW YORK GIANTS
LOS ANGLES LAKERS
