No matter how bad the Rangers are, like this season, I just don't see Beltre getting traded.

Just wanted to get some opinions on what it would take to get Matt Kemp to Seattle Mariners

LA is in 1st place comfortably Kemp isn't playing light out he's Batting .240 8 HR 38 RBI

Think the Rangers would do Casey Janssen for Ryan Cordell? Maybe I could get a little more? Diplan would be cool but I'd have to wait a year cause IFA. Bostick would be ok. Demeritte might be a touch pricey. Ryan Rua would be awesome. Cordell + Rua?

Nick Franklin, Kyle Seager, and a mid B pitching prospect for Kemp sounds good to me. May have to add a bit more but since Kemp is playing bad probably not

Plenty more where that came from, just find a team that's out of it. Just about all 4th OF types are available for high C's

Would mason williams for junior lake work if im the Yankees? Or would I need to trade them someone else?

Edit: Also trying to trade Kuroda to either Giants, Padres, Braves, or Nationals.. What can I get for him if he's 9-3 with a 3.79 Era?

Williams for Lake seems good to me. Check the spreadsheet for what you should expect for Kuroda

I also dont know who any of those guys are (Janssen not included). But neither of Cordell or Rua is a top 20 prospect in the Rangers system. So I say go for it.

Rua is low teens and Cordell is 19 as of the last update on a Ranger's blog.

That's kind of a weird trade though, a potential 4th OF for a potential 4th OF.

As a M's fan despite how crappy our OF is and the fact we have DJ Peterson coming up who can play 3B, I wouldn't want the M's to give up Seager to get Kemp, especially with his contract..

Franklin, Paxton and a prospect like Guerrero or Wilson maybe but it would have to be with him playing better then .240 with 8 HR's.

I don't see the point of grabbing Kemp if you have to give up Kyle Seager.

One of Miller/Franklin/Taylor + Paxton/Hultzen+ Guerrero/Wilson should be enough to get him but do you really want to take on that salary for someone hitting .240 with 8 HR's.

In my M's Franchise I traded for S. Van Slyke instead and until he got hurt he was hitting over .300 with a couple of HR's in like 60 AB's for me. He doesn't run as well as Kemp, but he is a whole lot less money and cost less prospects.

Spreadsheet says a Mid C, and there were real life rumors of the M's doing something like Farquhar or Medina to get him. In my Franchise I went with L. Bawcom and traded them back Landry (OF in AA) who was a former Dodger we got in the League trade.

Franklin, Paxton, and Guerrero looks good for Kemp. The Dodgers need a 3B or SS (depends on which one Hanley is playing) so that's why I thought of Seager. Franklin would feel the SS role nicely for Hanley to just stay at 3rd.
