Well, I don't...usually. Though I might give it a try if I can ever draft a team I'm pleased with.

I used to play one game, then sim 5. That way I keep playing with different pitchers every game, following the rotation...allows me to play a different team each time, and stats at the end of the year looked a bit better, though I'm doing a much better job now being patient at the plate, and getting free passes.

      Quick questions for you guys.

I'm having a hard time to chose how I wanna build my bullpen. Given the choice, which would you pick ?

      Kelvin Herrera or Ben Giles
      Arodys Vizcaino or Keone Kela

Boston picks up the final game of the series behind a great finesse outing from Finnegan. He went 7 innings and picked up just 1 K, but no walks and only 6 hits. 53% of the balls hit against him were on the ground.

Chris Carter got his first HR of the season, a 2-run HR that hit off the top of the foul pole in left field.

In an interesting move, Chapman came in for the 8th and stayed on in the 9th even with Familia ready to go in the bullpen. Chapman was pretty much flawless. Still, why did Boston stick with Chapman and not switch to Familia?

            SPACE CITY 'STROS

            GAME 2 / 2016

A closer game than the box score would indicate, the Astros won the second game of the series in New York, earning there first series victory of the season. Jake Peavy pitched 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 11 hits and striking out 3. In the first inning, the defense showed off with another exciting play at the plate. Austin Jackson threw a strike to cutoff man Carlos Correa, who gunned out Kang at home. This seems to be becoming a common occurrence, that is sure to impress Astros fans & the Web Gems staff. With the game tied at 3 in the 8th, Trayce Thompson hit a hanging curve down the left field line to give the Astros the lead 4-3. After loading the bases in the 9th, Nick Hundley hit a GRAND SLAM, solidifying the victory.

FINAL SCORE: HOU 8 NYY 4

Next Up: Lance McCullers takes the mound in the series finale versus Scott Kazmir.

Going to be redoing my draft, as I feel I traded too much out of greed and it just doesn't seem natural or fair to have NO prospects and my 1-6 hitters all 85+. Don't know if I should be the Cubs or someone else though

                      A Century Long Wait Is...Over

The Chicago Cubs, headed by Manager Joe Maddon and GM Tim Kutz, entered the 2016 draft with a few things in mind. First, depth at ALL positions. Picking later in the draft had become more important. Secondly, a sold young bullpen, with a few young guns brewing in Triple A. Finally, a sold core of guys that are all around great ball players. Onto the lineup.

                      1) Starling Marte, LF 90 OVR
                      2) Brandon Belt, 1B 82 OVR
                      3) Andrew McCutchen, CF 95 OVR
                      4) Kris Bryant, 3B 87 OVR
                      5) Addison Russell, SS 83 OVR
                      6) Salvador Perez, C 83 OVR
                      7) Nomar Mazara (R), RF 81 OVR
                      8) Pitcher
                      9) Trevor Story (R), 2B 81 OVR

Lineup will be adjusted, just a baseline there. Think I have solid fielding throughout, a few lefties, good power and contact all around.

                      Pitching:

                      1) Michael Pineda, 86 OVR
                      2) Tanner Roark, 83 OVR
                      3) Steven Matz, 80 OVR
                      4) Luis Severino, 79 OVR
                      5) Kenta Maea, 79 OVR

Went really young here, but I have a very solid bullpen to back these guys up.

                      Prospects include:
                      Javier Baez, 2B/SS
                      Julio Urias, SP
                      Byron Buxton, CF
                      Jeremy Hazelbaker, RF
                      Aaron Judge, RF
                      Tyler White, 1B

We're ready for a good year. The coaching staff will be moved around a bit (aside from Joe), and we will begin the season shortly.

Re: Official MLB The Show 16 Fantasy Draft Franchise Progress Thread

Alright...so ended-up scrapping yesterday's draft midway through, because I didn't like the LHB/RHB situation I had going, plus I realized I loaded pretty heavily on outfielders. That, and while I was tweaking my sliders last night, I feel in love with another team's uniform.

So the Twins are out, new team is in...spend a few hours scouting players on the web (thanks YouTube for some awesome highlights videos) and planning my strategy. And boy did it pay off so far ! I'm stoke about the foundation of team I have through the first 11 rounds. You see me coming now, aren't you ?

                          12th round...again !
I find myself in the 12th round now, potentially needing three things: a middle of the rotation starter (hopefully a lefty, since I have two righties so far), a starter at second base, or a starting catcher.

Jimmy Nelson, Brandon Finnegan and Tyler Skaggs seems to be the best option at SP right now. But I was really hoping for one of Steven Matz or Andrew Heaney to fall to me (both got taken late in the 11th round) and I'm not sure I'm crazy enough about one of the three to spend this pick on them.

Same with catcher, where Blake Swihart and James McCann are probably the only two I would even consider at this point. Swihart I like a lot, but seing as he would probably bat at #8 in my line-up, it feels like a luxury at this point, one that I should probably pass on knowing I could snag a Christian Vazquez later in the draft (or hell, maybe even a Gary Sanchez if I feel like adding a bat).

The position I'm really looking to fill right now is 2B, given how important the middle of the infield is (well, pitcher is important too, but I feel like I'm gonna try to trade for a middle of the rotation veteran lefty after the draft anyway).

                          2ND BASEMEN
I was hoping for one of Delino Deshields Jr. or Devon Travis to fall to me, but both were taken late in the 11th round.

                          - Omar Infante: For the same reason I was considering bringing Headley in my last draft, Infante would bring some experience in an otherwise pretty young line-up (5 of my 7 starters are 25 or under, the other two being 26 and 28). His vision is through the roof 87, and he's got some range defensively. And it seems like he would be a good fit in my line-up, at #8 or #9...could even fill in at #2 (thought his discipline is kinda low) when my starting OF takes a day off.

                          - Eugenio Suarez: Listed as a 3rd base, though he did play SS...could he make the transition to 2nd base ? Lacks a bit of speed I think, but the possibility to add him is enticing enough for me to consider it. Looks well balanced, with 67 contact against both righties and lefties...and a 75 batting clutch.

                          - Trea Turner: Pure shortstop from what I've read, but since I'm not in desperate needs for a bat, his defense surely caught my eyes. Could be available later on though, as he's still pretty far from the top spot at SS.

                          - Eddie Rosario: Listes as a LF, but I know he was drafted as a second base. His discipline is low, but aside from that, he does seem to have everything. He's a lefty, which could prove to be a good addition to the bottom of my line-up. Sill only 24, though he's a C potential.

                          - Kike Hernandez: Listed as a CF, but has 2B as secondary position. Not sure I'm entirely comfortable with a 55 speed 2B though, but his 74 fielding and 68 reaction makes him a viable option at least. And boy the guy can hit against lefties (90 contact, 69 vision, 83 clutch).

                          - Danny Santana: Listed as a CF, but also has 2B as secondary position. He's a switch hitter, which would be ideal for me. Brings a lot of speed and stealing ability, which could make him a very interesting option. He's an awesome bunter, and decent hitter (72 vsR, 75 vsL, with 55 vision and 76 clutch). Decent defender with 60+ in every category. Right now, I'm leaning heavily towards him to take the spot, as he seems to bring what I'm looking for out of a #9 batter.

                          Any take on this ?

Sidenote: I just can't wait to show you that team !

I'd go infante I think. Solid veteran on a young team. What team did you pick?

Cleveland Indians. I just freakin' love that red uni (road throwback I think).
