There's a white halo/shadow like effect around the helmet area as well as pay attention to his sleeves, they change color during the at-bat

I think a lot of people are seeing that in certain lighting. I've had it too. Definitely don't think it's your TV.

Alright, hopefully it can get patched it's so disappointing to see. I wonder if it's in all stadiums or some, I've noticed it in STL & LAD but I played at ATL earlier & didn't notice anything that game but maybe I was too into the game lol it's so distracting, once you see it you can't unsee it

Yup. I saw that the first few games I played. Might have to do with the hdr slider. I'm still playing around with it but haven't had much time due to work.

It's pretty bad in my RTTS home stadium, but not as bad in Progressive Field. It could also be the color of the helmets. In my RTTS my team wears glossy blue, but the Indians were a kind of muted navy.

Even with HDR turned off I still get it which is the weirder part

Hopefully it's a lighting bug that can be patched

If you're using HDR turn up your back light to max which is 20, Smart LED to high. Also, make sure you disable all ECO settings on your tv since this tends to lower the brightness depending on your lighting in the room.

I have a KU7000. When I turn game mode and hdr on, the picture looks a little flat. Like the colors just don't pop enough. I like dynamic mode for the colors but the lag seems awful when I play so I go back to game mode.

Looked dull in NBA 2k as well

I'm considering exchanging the tv for a ks8000.

I have a Vizio P series, and HDR definitely looks washed out. Hopefully it's an easy fix. I also hope they can patch in something for the intensity slider where you see a picture, and once it disappears, that's where the slider should be.

If this is true HDR then the backlight for my Samsung 8500 should automatically adjust to 20 when it receives an HDR signal... and it DOES do this. However, there must be a problem with HDR for THE Show. With it on, the game loses its luster. Since I got my TV last summer, HDR has been a WOW factor for tv viewing. This is the first product touting HDR that hasn't captivated me on some level. And I don't know why they have that intensity slider. That is a strange one.

I just got Planet Earth II with HDR for 4K and the picture is amazing. I guess HDR for motion pictures and HDR for games are not the same. The confusion continues.

BTW, The Show looks stunning WITHOUT HDR on.

The TV won't turn the backlight to 20 if your in game mode and you'll manually have to do it every time to get full HDR 10.
