Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
Just keep in mind you get what you pay for. A 4k TV under 1k is gonna be bad IMO. You should only get a 4k TV if your thinking 55 or higher. Really the intro is 65 but I dont see anything wrong with say, a SONY 930D. I myself own the samsung 65ks8000 and its a true gem IMO. Love it to death and its on sale at bestbuy for just at 1600 tax included. It would be at their warehouse so if your out in the sticks it might be hard.Comment

I did this and tweaked my color settings a bit (went with 60 color, and 45 brightness, backlight 20, sharpness 0, etc.) and it looks much improved. I think I was still having issues from not exiting completely out of the game after I made changes.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
I have a Vizio P65 C-1 and a regular PS4 and the game looks great to me. I have HDR set to about 1/3 of the bar. I just adjusted it until I thought it looked good.Comment

Did they patch the framerate in 4k mode? Hadn't tried it in a while and it was 100x smoother than before. I noticed no difference in framerate between 4k and enhanced visuals mode.

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
I figure with the TV's like ours the slider would be great since our TV's can't do HDR10 and I'm sure it would be great if the damn slider actually worked in-game.
I know it's not my TV because NBA 2K looks ridiculously good with HDR on my TV, and well as Mass Effect and Horizon.
Maybe if they patch the slider to work in-game I'll try again. Until then I'm gonna leave it off.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 17 Supports 4K & HDR on PS4 Pro
Those would be for 55" though No? I have been told 65" is really the sweet for 4k sets. I saw a nice looking 930e by don't. 1600. I myself bought a 65" ks8000 so yes, it's a great set and the highest rated mid range premium tv. It's all preference. Show like amazing on 65" though."Im all jacked up on mountain dew!"

I'm on vanilla PS4 and can truly say the gameplay framerate is the worst it has ever been.

I'm not sure what you or SCEA did, but I will have to see for myself when I get home this evening. If 4k is running smoother (at EVM rates) then that will be magical for this guy!Comment
