My fears were realized as I was used as a 90 rated bench player for the playoffs and the Angels were booted in the 1st round by the M's.

No change going into the 2020 season as Harper is still in right, Trout in center and Maybin in LF. I'm still on the bench. Luckily for me I saved all my training points to use right at the 60 day training deadline and just drop one point in each stat.

I hit .298 with 18 HR and 67 RBI in another season of bench duty. And once again the Angels are ousted by the M's in the 1st round.

Head into the 2021 season and Rendon is riding the pine as he dropped to a 72 overall. Harper is moved to DH (WOOOOOOOO!!) and Trout has taken his talents South...South side Chicago that is. Kinda bummed about the departure of Trout but once I take a look at the rest of the roster I'm feeling a little better.

In the off-season the Angels acquired a nice Ace in Chris Archer and a new SS by the name of Carlos Correa. Things are looking up as I'm hoping to have a full season in the field, my 1st since 2019.

Average and OBP dropped as I apparently went for a "swinging for the fences" approach for a while, disappointed in that. Don't even think I consciously changed my process, just got sloppy tracking pitches and being the patient hitter I was last year when I drew 110 walks (!!!). However, happy I set career highs in HRs and RBI, makes you feel like a run producer you know. And my player hits 3rd every game, so, I should be. Hopefully as I hit 30 my production doesn't start to decline doubt that will happen, as my attributes are still really high (high 80s in both contact and power)
Mariners finished with 90 wins, but lost the wild card game to MIN, which was very frustrating. After missing playoffs last season, waiting all this time for another crack at it.. out after one game. Oh well, hopefully next season goes by quickly and i get my 3rd chance at a title.

This is starting to piss me off. 30 games in, playing really good at 3rd. No errors and making all my plays and they want to try at 1B now. Anyway I can't get out of this, by answering a certain way? I'm tired of playing 1B, and DH. Every created character goes to 1B or DH, my SS CF 2B LF and now 3B.

I never complain but this is a game killer.. Fix it.

I'm tired of playing 1B, and DH. Every created character goes to 1B or DH, my SS CF 2B LF and now 3B.

In my new RTTS with the Twins I took the trial period at first for a good 12 or so games. Did alright only making one error but occasionally not making the smartest of throwing choices. Anyway now I'm back in Right field. They have been moving me around for a bit since, playing games in RF,LF, and 1B. Bumped my fielding up to a 60 with this last batch of points so we're coming along in AA Chattanooga. Once I get to ASW I'll share my mid season numbers.

I maxed out defense.. They're between 72-78. Yes, of course, I've been training. But it happens with every position. The guy they replace me with never has been defense .. And why always 1B, and DH. Who put's a 18 defensive minded SS at DH? After 3 games. 2 months later my SS is still at DH. They don't even try me at my secondary position.

Honestly it doesn't really matter if it's realistic or not. It's a game and I want to play the position I started..

Thanks man, really appreciate it! Originally had more written out for my most recent post but something wacky happened, lost it, then wrote a shorter to the point post out of frustration haha. Gonna go back and edit that post and add more to it.

The 2019 season didn't end in glory but at least the Red Sox and I made a little noise in the postseason. We defeated the hated Yankees in the Wild Card game despite my 0-4 effort. (I chalk that up to being nervous for his first postseason game.)

We faced the also hated Rays in the Division Series. I played very well blasting a 3-run homer in the first game (my 6th HR in two years - my guy is a contact hitter) and I thought we might be able to take them. Alas, they beat us in 5 games and our season was over.

I had a solid year hitting a little over .300 and not making a single error. I played 3B primarily but also saw time at 1B, 2B, SS, and even a couple of games in the OF where I managed not to embarrass myself despite not having much of a clue what I was doing out there. Despite my versatility, skill, and production, I only saw action in 82 games.

I went back home to Texas and worked with a passion for getting better all offseason. At the conclusion of Spring Training 2020, I was an 84 overall with excellent defensive abilities, superb contact, good speed, and even a little more pop in the power department. I'm better than the starter at 3B in every measurable. I thought surely I'll be starting to begin 2020.

The season started and sat on the bench. A week passed and I continued to sit. I didn't see any playing time until the second week and I'm currently on pace to play around 80 games.

I find the entire situation puzzling and irritating. I'm one of the best players on the team but they seem determined to keep me on the bench.

Quick question everyone. How do you get more pitch types in RTTS? Have a Starting pitcher on the Yankees with a 4 seam fastball, Changeup and Curve would like to add Slider and a Cutter

It's 300 skill points for each pitch. When you go into the area to improve your skill, press triangle I believe.

On the training screen there is a button to add another pitch. I think its triangle or square

Right Fielder Byron Reed has made it through the first half of his first AA season in Chattanooga. The team won the first half champs race and Reed has been invited to play as a starter in the AA All Star Game! Stats are below (some crazy numbers to follow but this is fun for me.)
