Just got my copy and tried out the game in 4k mode and Enhanced mode and I prefer Enhanced. The framerate upgrade makes the game so damn smooth and there isnt a huge graphics dropoff in Enhanced mode. The game looks great.

Exact same experience for me.

Does anybody know if gamestop would give you credit for trading in a ps4 after buying a pro? Example If I went and bought the pro today would they refund me the 195 dollars after I transfer my hard drive stuff to the pro.

I had to upgrade due to a lightning strike this weekend so I really upgraded all the way around. I had a 60" Sharp Aquos and a PS4 until Friday afternoon when a lightning bolt changed all of that.

So I now have a 65" Samsung 4K SUHD 9500 and a PS4 pro.......I am not lucky enough to have the Show 17 yet, but I will tomorrow. I can tell you though the difference between NBA 2k17 last Thursday and today is unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. I am not sure how much of that is from the pro or the tv or just a mutual combination. As far as I am concerned it was truly money well spent. I can't wait to spend $60 more tomorrow.

I upgraded to the pro about 2 weeks ago simply because I got my refund check and I didn't want to feel "slighted" by playing a lesser version of this game. I only have a 1080p tv. Games from now on will have a Pro option and I'll eventually upgrade my tv. Instead of 1 lump sum in the future for Pro and TV, I want to space it out and enjoy the future games being released with Pro options.

Yeah. Enhanced seems to be the winner this year. Enhanced with HDR is what I have been rolling with.

The "broke" bomb. LOL. That TV will be the last one I buy for at least 5-7 years or until 8k becomes the next standard and I decide to splurge again.

First thoughts are....

I just cant tell right now. It does feel anti aliasing is a bit better especially looking at rafters, distance etc but as you can see it still has that horrible shimmer on the bat. Its however better in the daytime so possibly could be a lighting issue. The railings also have it which is pretty distracting.

If i had to say either way at the moment id say it isnt being downsampled but ill look further.

The Framerate is a game changer though, even without FRM it is silky smooth, so no complaints there.

When i try and change to enhanced or 4k it just says no HDMI 2.2 was detected.

I really hope we get some official word on this and if it isn't downsampling then hopefully we get a patch or at the least an explanation.

PC gaming has ruined me because it does look great but I cant stand bad aliasing

That said the game looks massively better than last years

I'll say it again, those with a reg ps4 and 1080p television will still have what seems like a framerate boost over 16 and way improved graphics. Everyone needs to remember that during every stream, Ramone stated the streams were all on base ps4's. Lets not forget how smooth the gameplay was during those streams and how impressive the graphics were.

I have the game and a base ps4. It is incredible what has been done with this game in a one year cycle. Will ps4 pro have better framerate and graphics yes, but base ps4 framerate and graphics are still very impressive.

Can I ask how much you played MLB the show 16?

A decent amount. Franchise only, and I made it to year three doing the play one sim 5 method. So if you include playoffs, we're talking over 40 games a year. So over a hundred games in franchise. All together I've got a couple hundred games in total I'm guessing
