Re: PS4 vs PS4 pro
I ended up turning HDR off (using original PS4). The gameplay got real choppy and the jerseys started flickering. Beginning of the game no issues, got to the 3rd inning and it all started spazzing out. very strange.Miami Heat

Re: PS4 vs PS4 pro
Very little bit, basically just like it looked last year on my OG PS4 in that regard, maybe a little cleaned up there, but I think that is same on OG PS4. I don't feel like PS4 Pro 1080p'ers get any image quality benefits, just the HFR which is awesome.
I am still testing though, but honestly everything is looking the same no matter what mode I have it on.Comment

It's straight silk, my man. Straight butter during gameplay
It sucks that the Pro doesn't record 1080/60fps videos."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Yeah, I went to their site and it says they'll give $170. I do know that number isn't concrete, though. We'll see, I think I may go do it tonight....Comment

Re: PS4 vs PS4 pro
don't want to get off topic. but I'm debating this. don't you need your old ps4 and your ps4 pro at the same time in order to transfer over all the data? sorry again for thread hijacking.Miami Heat

Re: PS4 vs PS4 pro
Sony Bravia X850D with standard PS4 turned on HDR mode just wanted to see how far left or right I should change that slider? I've been messing with it all the way left or all the way right and I can't decide what looks better yet. Also I'm dying to figure out the correct settings on my TV if anyone has a Sony 4K TV. Got HDR and 4K enabled on my HDMI port just not sure which video settings are best right now when I switch this game to HDR it switches my TV to "HDR Video". Is that the only way I can run HDR?? Seems strange that the other video presets wouldn't be HDR compatible?

For how far to turn up the slider, it depends. The slider ranges from 0 to 1000 nit info being produced from the game. If your TV can handle that, then great. It will otherwise clip what it can't process.
If not, you will need white clipping HDR test patterns to see how much peak white you can see at your contrast level. From there you can either guess how much to reduce the slider in Game. Or you can reduce the contrast on TV a bit until you can see 1,000 nit white levels.Comment
