I'm on the Pro using enhanced visuals, does anyone who's played in Progressive Field notice what looks like a waterfall flowing down the BP building behind the big scoreboard? It flows down then flows up. lol

Not a big deal at all, just kinda weird.

When using a Pro on a 1080p tv are you guy updating your hdmi cords as well? In my main setup tv is mounted over fire place with cords being routed through the mantle to get to the electronics. If need to upgrade cords and a hdmi switch before I could change to a truefully 4k tv.

Add me to the group of users who traded in a launch PS4 for a Pro. Using a 1080p OLED and the difference is awesome! Loving the HFR of the Pro. Watching those throws from 3rd to 1st and having it be a smooth pan across is a sight to be seen.

            Re: PS4 vs PS4 pro

I ended up getting a pro today to be able to use the HFR mode. I had already bought the digital download and had been playing the past few days on my launch ps4. When I went to the PS website and to my download list to "download to ps4," the button is grayed out. When I went to My Library within the PS4 itself and clicked on a game, it didn't give me the option to download. Finally, I did the search method, where I searched for the show within the library and when I clicked on the result that came up, the download button was there. It is now downloading, but it says it is only 8.1 gb. I know the download from the other day was something like 41gb. Am I doing something wrong or am I downloading the wrong thing?

ETA: I have already clicked the button that was supposed to activate my new ps4 as my primary ps4.

I had to go to the store and re-download from there. It wouldn't give me the download button in my library either.

It seems like other people have had this issue with games since the 4.5 system update. I guess what has me confused right now is why the download is saying it is a total of 8.7gb. Does it download in multiple parts or something? Or is it compressed and when it finishes downloading and installing it ends up being the 40+gb size?

It does download in two parts. Does it only show one on your notifications tab?

I just checked the notifications tab and it does seem to have two progress bars next to each other. The first one is downloading now. Thanks for your help. I imagine tomorrow morning everything will be good to go.

I am not 100% on the limitations on what a prior version of HDMI can give. One lookup said an HDMI 2.0 cable is needed for 4K/60 FPS, and that older cables are limited to 4K/30 FPS. Since you are on a 1080p TV, I would imagine 1080p/60 FPS is perfectly possible and not an issue for you. I'm guessing the SP4P's included cable isn't long enough for your needs, based on your description.

I'm just using the cable I got with my console to take care of things.

I just use the HDMI cable that the Pro came with.

HDMI doesn't work that way. You either get a picture or you don't, there is no "in-between". Also, there really isn't such a thing as a 2.0 HDMI cable. There is 2.0 HDMI which is the actual connection in your device (also there is 2.0a now and 2.1 is coming soon). If you plug up your PS4 Pro to your 4k TV with a HDMI and get a picture, you are getting the best you will get with those two devices together....you wont improve with a new HDMI cable.....no matter how much they try to sell you one. As long as your cable is compatible with at least 1.4 HDMI and high speed (basically same price as standards which at phased out) you shouldn't have any issues. Don't go out and buy a $40 cable because they tell you that you will have better 4K with a higher frame rate....its just not true.

This game looks absolutely amazing on the PRO.
I just bought a PRO on Wednesday and it is just so nice looking.
I use the boost on with the 4k setting and it blows me away!

I did, I know everyone else says to use enhanced but the game is really choppy for me when I put it on enhanced. I know a lot of people have said not to use the boost on too, but the game looks and plays great with it on for me.
