Same here, although I started in 4K and haven't really noticed much of a change. I guess i'm not that sensitive to framerate like most everyone else apparently lol.

I tried the 4k and didn't really notice it looking that much better but it was a little choppy.

I don't know what model Samsung you have but you may need to go into your expert settings and make sure HDMI UHD Color is turned on for every input. Otherwise you'll never get an HDR signal.

The game is pretty smooth on the standard PS4, but there is a frame rate hitch here and there. For instance, doing a warmup swing hitches just a bit at the beginning of it almost every single time. But it is pretty smooth for the most part.

Don't play on 4K. It's too choppy. Enhanced Visuals runs at 60 fps

60 FPS in gameplay on EV. Definitely drops below that in some cutscenes (particularly split-screen type stuff). Others look 60 FPS smooth, even some of the wide-angle shots of the field which almost looked like a slideshow at times last year.

It really is impressive. And I haven't even tried high frame rate mode yet.

Anyone else notice hitches/slowdowns at the start of warmup swings? Trying to determine if this is just a standard PS4 issue. Happens to me almost every time.

I still have Boost Mode on. I only have 1080p tv so I am playing on Enhanced Frame Rate. Should I turn off Boost mode?

You can leave it on. It won't affect anything.

Can't get a good HDR setting. Just said screw it. It looks phenomenal without it anyway. Running with enhanced visuals and its awesome. No judder, everything is smooth. And I'll take the better input lag by not using HDR.

Did try 4K and it looks great but noticed quite a bit of framerate dips.

Well for me.. I "may" even though I really don't want to..
Jump on a Slim version since I don't have one yet.

Will be a while if at all as I have a hard time making that decision with a working PS4.

IMO, it's absolutely worth the upgrade. I don't have a 4K tv yet but the storage space alone on the Pro is enough for me to justify the purchase. I got tired of deleting a game when i bought a new one, only to re-install it 2 weeks later when i wanted to play it again.

As of right now, i have 15 games on my hard drive and i still have about 375 GBs of storage space left.
