Ok So I saw you guys doing drafts and since I hadn't played mine in awhile I have lost the attachment to my team so I have decided to draft again since the new Hybrid roster just came out.

I have decided to use Baltimore. I asked my niece to pick a number from one to ten she chose 5. I exited the draft 4 times and on the 5th I took whatever spot they gave me, which was the 11th pick.


I took Mike Trout with the first Pick. Kimbrel with the 2nd pick and Kyle Seager with the 3rd. Here goes the rest of the Picks.

Other Notes on the team: I signed Bartolo Colon to a minor league deal as the computer did not pick up any SP above 63. So basically if I get an injury to the SP I will only have him or Seth Lugo from the bullpen to replace them with for this season.

With the re-rated players in the Hybrid roster Mike trout is usually later in the first round, but I have never seen him this far down, so I had to pounce on him.

So I'm starting my 30 team control Fantasy Franchise, and I'm actually going to do it differently than I ever have before. I'm going to use recommend pick for ALL the teams including my own that I plan on playing with. So this way I'll get different players than I normally would plus I wont just be getting best position available. Also limiting myself to 5 total A potential players including Prospects and MLB. So I'm getting started let's see how it goes lol

So after getting to Round 30 I didn't like how the roster was turning out. I liked the first 14 rounds but went downhill quick after that. So I was thinking on how I could draft but still have some control over who I got. So I went with I'll use recommend pick but I get to chose the player from that position instead of how I was doing which was just picking the top player at the position recommended pick had chosen for me. So I hit recommended pick and have to chose within the top ten players I cant scroll down past those top ten. Also still holding myself to the max 5 A potential players.

After 20 rounds I'm liking how this is turning out alot more. I actually feel like I have some control and in turn feel more invested in the Franchise

So I've finished doing the fantasy draft for all 30 teams. I've added everyone on the 40man to the mlb roster for all the teams. I'm pretty happy how my overall team turned out. Haven't made any trades.

SEATTLE MARINERS UPDATE:

So how I plan to play this Franchise with some house rules..
1. I can only trade from trade block
2. Only can do trades thru trade block using suggested trade.
3. No messing with CPU trades or rosters
4. No editing players unless switching positions. If I do switch their positions I take 5% off all fielding attributes for secondary positions and 10% off all fielding attributes if it's a position they don't have.
5. I play every pitch of every game, no restarting game once I start it.

Really contemplating doing a "God Mode" Fantasy Draft this weekend, and doing 30 team control. For those of you whom have completed a 30 TC Fantasy Draft, is it truly hell? I want to make sure I do it right the first time, so that I don't hit round 23 and I'm wondering what I was thinking an hour ago in round 6.

Really contemplating doing a "God Mode" Fantasy Draft this weekend, and doing 30 team control. For those of you whom have completed a 30 TC Fantasy Draft, is it truly hell? I want to make sure I do it right the first time, so that I don't hit round 23 and I'm wondering what I was thinking an hour ago in round 6.

Yea I've personally have done it a few times lol it takes a while but in my opinion it's worth it. A thing you have to look out for is around Round 30 if you use recommend pick for the teams itll start recommending the same pick over and over until you chose the high potential players outta that position. I'm actually thinking about doing anyone I love the drafting of it and getting different players each draft. Another thing to look out for is not making your team really overpowered by cheating the other teams but other than that its really fun

Dumped the phils - did a redraft with them though. Wanted to do the whole no more than 5 A-potential players. Quite pleased with the results. This is it for me for fantasy drafts, either I stay with it or it’s just dd the rest of the year. I’ll lost an update here soon
