Freeland from Colorado to the Yankees. Originally thought about it as a German for Freeland deal, but now interested in Freeland if German isn’t a good match there. Thoughts in either case?

So I’m expecting Texas to not be in it around playoff time, what would the return for Corey Kluber be? Let’s say to a playoff team ie Minnesota/Tampa.

In MLB trades, do salaries have to match or be within a percentage of each other? Or could I trade (using extremes here) Stanton for a single A prospect on a 30k/ yr deal?

Only asking about salary stuff, not whether any team would do it.

Soroka alone is worth more than "Gorman Libertore and Carp." Actually Soroka is twice as valuable as that package so I think you're a little off on your assessment.

If the Braves were to include Soroka and Riley in a trade they would be able to acquire the elite of the elite trade options. We're talking high WAR pre-Arb guys like Matt Chapman, Gleybar Torres, Rafael Devers, etc.

Re: Official MLB 20 the Show Trade Discussion Thread

In my chise I am only pitching sim hitting. Im Baltimore after the first month and actually playing well. If things keep going how they are two months from now I may look to make a move. If things keep going the Mets have started very poorly and this is a trade Im eyeing, I will also give some of my thoughts behind the move as well.

            Bal get: Rosario 43.4, Ramos 0.1, Familia, -15.1 = 27.6

            NYM get: Mountcastle 19.8, Sisco 8.2, Mckenna 6.3 = 34.3

My thinking is I get a good young piece while taking on a couple of contracts that the Mets if playing poorly would likely try and get rid of one with negative value the other with basically none. The Mets have next to no prospects of value at catcher or OF and none that are close to major league ready and this would give them three prospects one of which is a top 100 guy currently (Mountcastle) another was a top 100 guy 2 years ago at catcher which the Mets have no current future at. The mets have almost every IF position currently solidified even after this trade and have 2 top 100 prospects at SS currently in their system. I added some extra value going their way to entice the move as Rosario is an excellent young piece.

you might be confusing Soroka with Ian Anderson...

So I just traded Logan Allen. Espino and Bradley zimmer for Joey Gallo. Is that a Fair trade?

If not, I’m about to restart my franchise lol

It is not particularly close to a fair trade. You offered up roughly 1/4th of the value Gallo provides. You would need to include Nolan Jones and then another couple of your high end prospects. Allen or Espino could be the 3rd or 4th piece, not the main piece in the trade.

Since Bryant is on his last year before free agency I’d like to complete a trade early for him and extend him in season.

I’m the Phillies and am looking to build a package around Stott and Eflin if possible.

Looks doable according to the calculator, but I certainly don’t want to underpay and am wondering what the forum says.

Sorry if it's been talked about but I'm wondering what everyone is doing in year one of their franchise with the top unsigned free agents?

Puig, Scooter, Even Henderson Alvarez... I'm about to start a 30 team control franchise in Spring Training. I'm waiting to see if anyone has a star go down with an injury before signing some of them but by opening day, I want them on a team.

What would be fair trade to send Josh Bell to the Red Sox?

Bos Receives - 1B Josh Bell

Pit Receives - IF Michael Chavis and SP Jay Groome

Would this be a good start?

I’m wanting to start a Tampa Bay franchise and build around Wander Franco. Can anyone recommend pieces to grow with him?

Ideally I want players who are attainable and young, A or B potential

                            Hey,

Currently around 20 games into season 1 with my Rays franchise.

Looking to get a deal done for a 3B, tired of platooning Diaz with Tsustugo or Wendle and would like some consistency, everyday 3rd basemen.

I have had a look around, and am not aiming for superstar level, just a consistent, good, controllable 3b.

This has led me to stay within the state by going for Brian Anderson.

                            What is his value?

He is batting 265 with 1HR and 10RBI in 68 AB's so far. The Marlins have put Ryan Cook and Villars on the block although they are 12-9 to start the season.

What would it take to get it done? I have options at 2nd / SS in the minors with Edwards, Fox, Jones, Brujan or could do something around Honeywell / baz / Banda.

Won't deal Franco or McKay at this point, could also look at Chirinos if you think it worked. Happy to get rid of Diaz as part of the deal?

                            Using OSFM rosters!

                            Thanks!

That’s what I mean. Soroka and a mid tier prospect will get a deal done. Realistically the Rockies want prospects but they will look for a starter, whether it be a pitcher or position player.

How do you guys handle trading away/for more than 3 players? Do you limit yourself on the trades to a max of 3 per team? I've played the Show since 2008 but this is the first year I'm using the trade value/calculator.

I'm really wanting to pull of an Arenado trade to Philly but I don't want to swindle the Rockies.
