I got all the mundane offline stuff done in both Postseason programs. I've grinded a ton the last two days and definitely burned myself out on The Show catching up. With the new online stat missions making the program grind quicker, I figured I'd just grind some event games to try and get those done without caring about winning. The event rewards have been so bad that it's not even real incentive to play for me. So I'd literally just be playing for the sake of the missions.
I jumped into one like 30 minutes ago. First time online since the ShowZone Beta and first Event game in MONTHS. Person I played was spamming R2 relentlessly lmao
I'm going to have two weeks off work so I'll have time to get these programs done. I need to get back into Starfield and Forza just came out, too.
I'm in a weird spot with The Show. Normally I'm done with the game at this point because I hate the gameplay and the content is still really good but no desire to play. I enjoy the gameplay this year but content has been so, idk, washed that all the new cards just feel like repeats of cards we've been using. Like the Division series cards were pretty decent, but there's a lot of repeat cards and depending on who wins the World Series we'll probably get more repeat 99's.
I'm excited to see Set 5 because the new Sets always bring a ton of content. But they've also followed the same cadence all year so the excitement goes away fast. I hope they release a ton of AMAZING Captains so we can just go nuts with Captain builds the rest of the year before everything is unlocked.
