LOL, I just got tossed for the first time (year 2013). Close play at first that I thought I beat out, the ump didn't agree. I tore him up though

Is it just me or does the more I upgrade my pitches the more hits I give up? I have my per 9 sliders near max but I'm still giving up to many hits and not enough Ks.

Question - on your players "Interactions" screen, there is "Manager Mood" and "Team Mood". Is that their moods towards YOU, or just how things are going in general?

I also noticed that under "Player Management", if you press "O", you get to see your baseball card! Probably old news around here, but I thought it was cool having found it accidentially the other night.

My first guy is a Hall of Fame RF for the Mets at 36. Member of the 500+ HR club, 300+ SB club, 2500+ hits, 2600+ RBI.

My second guy that I started yesterday is a 19-year-old SP for the Twins who can't catch a break. No matter how well he does in AAA, even though he's the 4th highest overall SP in AAA, he still gets sent down to AA. It sucks because I'll make 1 start in AA, dominate, go to AAA, have 1 bad start, go down to AA and not get called back up. Right now in the AA league, he is 12-0 with a 1.12 ERA and 87 K's and its not even the All-Star break. At least it gets me good Training Points.

I am having a problem in that I am tearing it up when I get the chance to play...Problem is, I can't seem to get consistent PT. So I am riding the pine in the bigs, not earning any attribute points (or very slowly earning them). I am getting frustrated and am thinking about asking for a trade.

I had that same problem with my last RTTS guy, I made a new guy in frustration for the lack of playing time. Check the Interactions menu and there should be an option to ask for more playing time, if your managers happy he will allow you to play the next couple of games. Also, what im doing differently with this new guy I created is im spending more points on durability so that I can play more back to back games. Hopefully im able to get a good amount of playing time so my stats will go up.

A key I found to playing time early in your career is what you list as your secondary position. Go with something like the generic IF and you will be placed at all the infield positions in order to give guys days off.

Just wondering, is the PSP version of RTTS the same as the PS3/PS2 versions?

I did that about 3 (season) weeks ago, and I just did it again and he said he would give me a shot...Last time it lasted for all of 2 games. A major reason that I think I might stick it out with the Reds is that Hatteberg is old and surely will be retiring this year or next. I am in 08 now and I am the 2nd highest rated 1B in the organization behind only Old Man Hatte.

Current stats thru June 28 of 08: 13 Games 25 AB batting .480 with 5 HR and 13 RBI Of my 12 hits, 5 are long ones and I also got robbed of #6 in my last game!

Is everyone that is using HOF level, just using the default slider settings or are you using custom?

If you are using custom, what are your sliders if you don't mind?

One question related to your energy levels. I'm the starting SS in AA, putting good numbers (.315 with 17 SB, 45RBI, 6 HR).

The problem is that in two full months, i have not been rested even once!!.

I have started in ALL the games so my energy bar is totally empty since the first week 2 months ago. I wonder if it is affecting my performance and also why isn't my manager giving me a day off from time to time to get a rest.

Well, just finished up the 2010 season. I was called up in early May, and was the starting CF from then on. Had around 350 at bats (I'd sit every 5th day or so) and hit .347 with 17 HR 59 RBI and 25 SB. Finished 2nd in the AL Rookie of the Year voting to a guy who hit .298/28 HR/108 RBI.

The Rangers finally won the AL West again, and I've got the Twins up first in the playoffs. Hoping to finish out the playoffs this week, and head into 2011 for a full season in the bigs, see what I can do. I'm hoping for ~25HR and 80 RBI, with around 50 SB.
