Love the RTTS mode -- only gripe is that after my first season, I was offered contracts by 4 teams. I chose to go with the Rangers (the team I started with), only to find out that they acquired some new hot shot young 3rd baseman, and I'm stuck being a utility guy in AAA. I wish there was a way to check the organizational depth charts when trying to decide on a contract.

Also, I'd prefer to have the option to turn off base running -- I'm a power-hitting 3rd baseman with no speed, so I won't be stealing any bases. I'd much rather have the option to hit & field only.

yeah, I wish you could see that too. Contracts are something they definitely need to expand on. I would like to be able to hire an agent and at least get some input around the league of who might be wanting my services.

Question - on your players "Interactions" screen, there is "Manager Mood" and "Team Mood". Is that their moods towards YOU, or just how things are going in general?

Anyone have thoughts on this?

I think it is towards you. My team (Braves) have been inbetween 1st and 4th in my division over the 7 years of my career but I've always been really good. The team has always been happy with me and the lowest the manager ever was that I recall was around 80% when I first arrived. I would think the manager wouldn't have been very happy one season where the team didn't do too well, but he was happy to the max the entire time which was probably because I was doing well.

Ok I'm 25 years old and am in my 4th straight year with the Braves. My stamina bar is full but yet I havent pitched a complete game yet. I'm always getting yanked in the 7th. I've only made it to the 8th once. How do I get to stay on the mound the entire 9 innings? Should I move the manager hook slider?

LOL, that's funny. I've never had anything but totally full happiness from the team. Do you do a lot of stuff in the interactions screen that could bother your team mood?

Just wrapped up the 2010 season last night with a World Series win for the Rangers! I was pretty poor in the playoffs, though, hitting .250 with 1 HR and 8 RBI. Swept Minnesota in the Division round, then beat Cleveland 4-1 in the ALCS to meet Philly (who beat Houston 4-3 in the NLCS, almost had an all Texas WS!!). Beat Philly 4-1 to take the crown!

Cool. That's been my story in the WS. I won the title with the Braves in 2010 and 2012, but both times I struggled in the WS even though my NLCS and NLDS series were so good that it earned me Playoff MVP.

Nope, never have. I was going to complain about chemistry since they were so grumpy.

is anyone having the cpu lowball you? right now im a free agent in year 2012, and my player is clearly the best pitcher statistcally & ratings wise. im rated an "A" for every category except for fielding and im a "B" in that. most teams are offering me contracts that average $8mil. i play for the yankees and Wang, dontrelle willis, and brandon webb(they too are on the yanks now) all get paid more than me. i should get $10mil at the very least but for some reason the cpu thinks that unrealistic.

I am in my 3rd year now as a 1B for the Reds. I was up in the bigs for most of my 2nd year and got offered a fairly low-ball contract in my estimation. I countered back with a 1 year deal, realizing that I am going to improve dramatically still in my 3rd year. I have started at AAA and through 12 games I have 29 hits, am batting .580, with 5 HR and 16 RBI. I wonder how long they can keep me down while I am putting up those kinds of numbers.

I started on Vet my first year, I'm in my 7th now and have been playing HOF for the past couple seasons. As you go, your player becomes so good I think you have to keep bumping up the difficulty.
