Damn Giant you are not happy with 2K11 and you take that back, and now you are having some complaints with the fielding. Good luck bro finding a game that you can enjoy. . Also I really love that Twins cam. And the flow of the game is perfect. I love the batters stepping out and the pitchers slowing down the game.

Not defending it at all! I am very well aware the CPU takes over at times. There are ways around it. So when I post some vids showing it don't ask me how I did it!

Nem, personally I would love to see a video of what you are talking about here (a way around it).

The lack of "full" user control while fielding in this series has always been a big pet peeve of mine. Granted it has been improved (reduced) somewhat this year but I still see instances where the canned animation ends up allowing a run here or there.

Also I really love that Twins cam.

I have seen talk of team specific cameras in various threads.......can someone explain to me how to get these cameras to show up?? Is there a particular fielding/batting/pitching cam that needs to be activated first??

When picking a pitching/batting camera choose one of the custom cameras, edit it and you should be able to scroll through the broadcast cams for all teams.

Is it me or is the umpire's strike zone extremely large this year? I've struck out looking more times than I have ever have on pitches that extremely far out of the zone.

I love the game so please do not get it twisted. But just because I love the game does not mean I have to hold my breath on known issues that are not addressed. Or should I just continue to post how much in awe I am of the game like you do

By the way the Twins cam is the nicest. At least you got good eyesight for that...

It's by design. Ask EnigmaNemesis. Ask any of the CD guys. SCEA does not want to see fielders approaching the ball without animated transitions. At least for now, it's not gonna happen.

Can you imagine how ugly it would look?

There's nothing to argue about. And no one is saying you don't know how to play the game or are making up the idea that the cpu takes over your fielder. We all know the cpu takes over the fielder, but there are things you can do, as Nem was trying to point out, to help with this.

Instead of putting up a wall and accusing others of "defending the game" or insuiating that people are questioning your ability to play the game, why not listen to what he had to say to see if it helped? What would've it had hurt?

Yes. You would get that stupid crow hop, every... single... time, that plagues every baseball game but this one for years.

Nem will post a video. One of the devs showed him how to approach the ball in a realistic fashion that makes fielding truly a gem in this game.

I really like the fielding this year. Such a huge leap for this series.
